Easy to remove kernels from corn on the cob
Safe and relatively easy to use. To use effectively, the corn needs to be cooled a bit.

Great investment
Best invention. I purchased lots of corn over the summer, used this handy tool to remove it from the cob and froz it. Best treat this winter. I added it to soups for a sweet flavor and color. We also had it with dinners. Much better than store bought.

Need some practice to use this, but it does work.
I see why they call this "professional"--because you have to use it quite a bit to get the hang of it. My wife and I live in New Jersey during the summer and quite often buy a dozen ears of corn. We usually cook all 12, eat I each, then cut the kernels from the cobb, using a knife. As far as this kernel cutter/husker, first, the husker is a bit difficult to use, and I found it just as easy to peel the husk without using the husker. Two stars for the husker. After cooking the corn, we tried the kernel cutter (don't know if it's meant to be used on raw or cooked corn) and after getting used to it, it works pretty well, at least as good as a knife, but with less risk of getting cut. So, 4 stars for the kernel cutter, resulting in an ovberall 3 stars.

FOR THE SUMMER, and holidays, this is just the best corn cutter
This past summer two of us cut like, 2 dozen ears of corn to freeze for winter and this just worked amazingly FAST. Hope it holds up. It seems pretty sturdy to last for awhile. Great tool .
