Bought this as a special present for a friend, not cheap at £35. Luckily, I had a month of Amazon Prime free delivery, otherwise there would have been £15 postage to pay. Item was due Tues 14 November (tomorrow) so I'd stated my work address, clearly noting delivery weekdays 9am to 5pm only. This was ignored by Amazon, who tried to delivery on Saturday. I had to then rearrange delivery; anxious Garfield might miss my friend's birthday. Item arrived today in thin white plastic postage bag. Garfield was inside another thin clear bag with brown powder all over it. Surreal, it smelt of cocoa powder?! There are safety air holes on the clear bag, so dirt has gotten inside from storage and/or cocoa, or this is a fault item sent overseas as seller thinks no one will bother to complain. Huge black mark on the leg, speckled dirt on body inside, stitching on head coming undone. Not happy at all, given good reviews here from other buyers. WOULD BE WORRIED IF THIS WAS INTENDED FOR A CHILD AS NOT CLEAN. What next Undecided if I'll ask for replacement, so my friend gets what I paid for (clean £35 soft toy of sentimental value, hence ordering) or if I offer this gift, saying sorry you'll have to clean the dirt off yourself once opened. Zero quality control at US warehouse, item probably sat on a shelf accumulating dust through the holes, then Garfield fought through cocoa dust storm before he was put in a delivery bag. Overall, I'd say don't bother...just buy £10 Garfield and sew on your own £1 suction caps. You'll even have money left over to buy a lot of luxury hot chocolates in a nice café, where cocoa belongs!

I've had this suction cup Garfield on my car window for about 9 months. He looks great and I get a lot of compliments. For the most part, his suction cups have been great. During the really cold months, one of his cups kept getting unsuctioned but it was just the one so he never fell. So far no visible wear or tear. He brings a smile to my face when I see him and when I see people's reaction to him.
