DIY tool to check your ears
This is a very easy to use tool to check your ears yourself. The camera works through an app and gives you a very clear view in your ears. The tools are very easy to attach and easy to clean. You will see if and where to clean. Absolutely worth the price. It will save you a doctors visit for cleaning your ears. You can do it yourself.

AMAZING!!
So, since I was a kid I've always produced a lot of ear wax, which led to my hearing going away almost entirely quite a few times. Before, all I could do was go to the hospital so they could fix it up. With this though, I can easily take care of the issue now myself. I've cleaned out both my ears with this and it worked fantastically. The picture quality is really good for such a small camera. Easily can see my ear drum and all the wax surrounding it. It's great, but can be hard to get used to using. Up on the camera can mean right in reality. You HAVE to be careful. It is VERY easy to do real damage to your eardrum. Be careful. Anyways, it's a fantastic product! My only complaint is that I have to forget the wifi network and then connect to it in order for it to display the picture. One more thing is I can't seem to take pictures or videos. Any time I try to give it permissions it says that it's not possible for my phone. For the price it's amazing! Definitely happy I bought this.

Effective but Requires Caution: Bebird Pro Note 5 Ear Wax Removal Tool
I wanted a reliable and advanced tool for ear wax removal that allows for precise and safe cleaning. Having used automatic tweezers before, I was looking for a similar level of convenience and effectiveness. DID IT SOLVE THE PROBLEM? Yes and no. The Bebird Pro Note 5 Ear Wax Removal Tool does a decent job at removing ear wax, but it has some drawbacks. The device uses manual tweezers, which I’m not a fan of, especially after being accustomed to automatic ones. Additionally, the device tends to get very hot after just a few minutes of use, which can be uncomfortable and concerning. ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: The integrated camera and light provide a clear view of the ear canal, which helps in avoiding any potential damage during cleaning. This visual aid is a major plus and enhances the overall effectiveness of the tool. The 3-in-1 design with the otoscope, light, and ear pick makes it versatile, but the manual operation is a bit of a letdown. WOULD I PURCHASE AGAIN? Probably not. While the visual aid is fantastic, the manual tweezers and the overheating issue are significant downsides for me. If Bebird could address these issues, it would be a much more compelling product. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Using the Bebird Pro Note 5 has been a mixed experience. The camera and light are excellent features that provide great visibility, but the device’s tendency to overheat and the manual tweezers detract from its usability. It’s effective, but it requires careful and infrequent use to avoid any potential harm. FINAL THOUGHTS: For those looking for a visual ear wax removal tool, the Bebird Pro Note 5 offers some excellent features, but it comes with notable drawbacks. The manual tweezers are less convenient, and the device’s overheating is a concern. Use it with caution and remember that some ear wax is beneficial, so frequent use isn’t necessary. TIPS FOR POTENTIAL BUYERS: Use this tool sparingly and with great care to avoid damaging your ears. Be mindful of the device overheating and take breaks if it gets too hot. The camera and light are helpful, but always be gentle and cautious during the cleaning process.

DO NOT BUY
Not even two weeks since I got this and already it is starting to break. The tip is now loose causing it to be able to shake around unless I am holding by the metal section. Update: It is now 1 month since I received this product and it has fallen apart completely. The casing that covers the battery and circuitry has come off and will not go back on properly.

Free from pain!!!!
This thing saved me. My ear was clogged and in deep significant amount of pain. I used this to pick out the clogged material out of my ear. After doing also a rinse, in a few days my ear was clear and free from pain. I was absolutely nervous as messing with the inside of the ear can be very dangerous. I recommend carefully doing it yourself to judge the depth of the insert device.

Good Product When it Works
I purchased this product for the purpose of ear inspections and cleaning going forward. I have had this product for about 4 days now and when it works it is really awesome. My problem is after 4 days I can't get a picture on the app and not sure why. I have reached out to bebird for support but thus far I have no reponse. I will never purchase another App based product again. I have ordered another scope that is stand alone with its own screen and you don't need Wifi to make it work. It is plug and play. When it arrives I will probably make a review of that one too.

Wonderful Tool
I used the ear cleaning tool right after it arrived. Once I got my operator error out of the way I used it with my phone and tablet. I use the tool to see what my inner looks like before and after cleaning. It works great and will eliminate future ear infections!!!! It takes some getting use to moving the hands of the grabber to remove any inner wax.

Not entirely sold on this device with a big caveat: I don't use this to remove wax
Disclosure. For those in the medical profession, this review is for you. I am an emergency medicine doc in the US. The only reason why I bring this is up is because my reason for buying Bebird Pro note 5 is very different than why other people likely purchased this device, Not for wax removal, but to examine ears and decide whether or not I need to give antibiotics or not. For reference, I utilize a portable handheld Welch Alyn otoscope that I got in medical school and paid $400 for that weighs 5lbs (stainless steel). It sucks to carry on me. What is more annoying is entering a patient's room, forgetting your otoscope at home/desk, and trying to use the wall mount one and it doesn't power on. But I digress. My reason for buying: Evaluation of the TM and ear canals. Not wax removal. But what really pushed me to consider trying this over other cheaper similar models are the tweezers (foreign body removals, mostly bugs, which I was prev using alligator forceps with pretty decent success). What about ear wax removal in the emergency department? I prefer soaking the ear one at a time with Debrox and performing an ear with irrigation, a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and WARM water (prevents dizziness). I don't like the idea of sticking this in to try and "grab" the wax, although I could see absolutely see this being helpful for stubborn wax removal. Even though its satisfying to do, I only do this if it is causing significant problems and I am free, otherwise outpatient referral if the department is crazy busy with sick people. Sorry if I have sent you home with a full ear, i promise its not because I am lazy. Pros: Some pretty cool features - Super compact, lightweight, sleek. This is probably the same weight and size as a full sized sharpie marker. I prefer carrying this so much more than a heavy otoscope. - Quality Construction. Does not feel like a cheap toy, has a nice heft. The magnetic cap that covers and protects the camera/tweezers when not in use is fantastic *Chef's kiss - Slim end of the camera. Yes this does indeed work well when entering the ear canal, although this is way more invasive than the speculum on a true handheld otoscope. - The light is quite bright and allows for adequate visualization of the ear canal and appreciate its features. This will definitely help you see wax, blood, drainage in the actual external ear canal (Unfortunately, not the Tympanic membranes, See cons for more) - Gyroscope. No matter how you rotate the device, your image will remain dead center. This is an awesome feature. - This does in fact fit an ADULT size standard ear speculum found in hospitals/clinics/urgent care, however the more narrow pediatric size will NOT fit, which sucks because 95% of the time I use otoscopes for pediatrics, not adults. See the photos attached. - Tweezers close firm enough to to extract objects in an ear without any concern on that end. Cons: The deal breakers for me. - You absolutely cannot remove the tweezer ends, which means I can rarely get a true view of the TM's to appreciate its features. Tweezers get in the way to prevent me from getting close enough. - The light is a very bright WHITE light (Vs. a more neutral yellow day tone). This masks the cone of light (which is what we use to determine if your TM is bulging). This "white out" means you won't see an air fluid levels. It can mask erythema of the TM's because all you see is bright white reflection. You can easily miss a perforated (Blown out) ear drum. This is a big no no for me. The combination of the two cons above is the achille's heel of this tool for medical use. It is cool to demonstrate what you are seeing to a parent who brings their kid in so they can appreciate what you are seeing, but its almost impossible to show acute otitis media because you either can't reach far enough in to view it, but even when you do, it all looks white. Other things worth mentioning - Tweezers are analog, not automated. when not engaged, default position is open. While I read a review saying they prefer automated, I do prefer the ability to control pressure (imagine trying to remove a bug without it ripping apart). - Although these tweezers/device end is of a narrow diameter, you will not be able to put both a standard otoscope and these tweezers together. You're better off with narrow tip alligator forceps. - I did not have any issues with the app. Its fun to take videos and photos of things you find. - For those worried about whether reusing this is sanitary, it is very easy to clean with alcohol wipes / Purple top / Gray top medical grade wipes. That summarizes my experience. This is unfortunately a wash and will be returned. The idea otoscope for me, a medical professional who is not an Ear Nose Throat doctor, but your friendly neighborhood generalist is the following. 1. LED bulb (Not halogen) so that I don't have to steal batteries from work to evaluate ears 2. Daylight yellow tone that is adjustable. 3. Lightweight, portable. 4. Fits pediatric ear speculums (which are smaller than adults). 5. Not $200 (I'm looking at you, welch allyn) Thanks for reading. Hope this review helped. update: dec 2024. decided to try and keep it to get it to work. item holds a gold charge. it’s a little counterintuitive that this uses wifi compared to bluetooth so if i don’t use it regularly it can be time consuming to set up as i fumble with connectivity. due to the size of the tweezer end, if a foreign body is actually adjacent to the TM’s you will NOT be able to reach it in a pediatric patient. had a child come in with a bug in the ear and although it was nice to visualize it, i could not get anywhere close enough to grasp it after we had the ear soaked in lidocaine and bug was “neutralized”. ended up using irrigation and got the bugger out
