Backlighted keys are very useful in low lighting if your eyesight isn't great. Good quality keyboard, feels solidly made. Backlight can be switched off or down in brightness which is better in daylight. Perfect for my needs.

Good replacement keyboard for my Mac mini I use in my microbrewery, my old on had got sticking keys and the number pad had stopped working. This does the job great and the back lit keys are just the added extra that makes me smile, but I am easily pleased

Product needs bigger rubber feet to dampen the typing noise passing through to table below. Noise volume is inconsistent, depending on whether key is at top or the bottom of the keyboard, which gets annoying very quickly. Best to place on fabric or a rubber mat to resolve. Backlight is good and brightness can be changed. On standard keys in brightest setting the led light shines through the back of the larger spacebar, shift and return keys. All in all the product is good for the price.

very nice keyboard. i bought this keyboard as a replacement for the standard imac keyboard. the look and feel is very nice also the keyboard is way more readable during the day and night(see photo's for comparison) The backlight is not even on every key but it does not bother that much. function keys are the same as standard keyboard. FN functions as a lock but is off by default. when off the function keys are the same as standard keyboard so you can change brightness and volume without the need of pressing function key

Despues de buscar cientos de modelos aquí... llegué a este pues buscaba que fuera de cable y que tuviera el volumen como mac.. todos los perixx a excepción de unos cuantos no me servían por las teclas de volumen.. logitech ya no fabrica con cable en este tamaño, todo lo mini es wireless y lo quería para una mac entonces me decidí. El precio fue de $670 lo cual se me hace muy elevado pero a manera de capricho me lo compré, igual y esta bonito y la iluminación esta cool. Previamente compre un logitech y me decepcionó la calidad/precio.. Pero con este fue mayor , Es mas frágil , el cable parece mas fragil que el del teclado mas generico de $100 que veas, y honestamente no se ve que rinda uso rudo o muy largo plazo... el color es otro factor que no ayuda a largo plazo. No deja de ser un teclado bonito y funcional, pero simplemente a ese precio estuvo rudo, Quiza a la mitad si le pusiera sus 5 estrellas.

Finché ha funzionato, niente da eccepire. Poi, tutto in una volta, dopo qualche mese una serie di pulsanti non ha più funzionato e ho dovuto comprare una tastiera diversa.

sadly, i don't get to keep this because of the spotty linux compatibility. it *technically* works, but with a lot of finagling and messing with settings/commands/scripts. that said, this is an incredible keyboard that truly lives up to the perixx name. if you've got a Mac, get this. the quality of this keyboard at this price is second to none. it features proper scissor switches, a tried and true layout (although i prefer when Fn is on the right, but Fn also locks, so it's fine really), and a sturdy enough build that you can't really ask more out of at the price i paid. the downside is the cheap plastic and white colour. it'll get dirty or foul rather quickly. if you don't mind, give this a shot. you'll definitely like it. the typing experience on this is absolutely incredible. it's quiet, yet tactile, and doesn't inexplicably sacrifice everything to try and get the noise down to Absolute Zero. there's no suppressors (thank goodness), nor soft-touch (thank goodness), just an honest-to-goodness replica of a laptop keyboard. the keys are steady, travel is decent, and if you're used to working on a thinkpad, older macbook or dynabook, this'll feel right at home. the layout is solid too! an actual T-shaped arrow pad? glory be! the keys have quality labels (as opposed to just stickers), and i never paid attention to how much nicer large print is until i used one. you'll see no "Win" keys here - quality was the mission. you done did good, perixx.
