Overall - my go-to for cocktails Things I liked - love the sections for liquor types, love the pictures, I have a few favorite recipes that are my go-to's for casual nights in and for parties, love the "1 part, 2 parts, 1 part" measuring for multiple drinks Things I didn't like - some of the cocktails were not to my liking, but I figured out pretty quick if the drink was too syrupy or not my taste. I didn't like that there wasn't a tip on how to make large batch cocktails or make ahead for large gatherings Great way to get started on your bar and making specialty cocktails. Hope they come out with a shooter version!

Bookshelf is full of recipes for those party drinks. Easy to read, quality book.

I purchased this for a nephew who is working on being a mixologist. He's going to love this book. It's a hard cover book and has many recipes for him to try. The colored photos in the book are very well done, and show the reader exactly what the drink should look like.

Technically it's correct, in that each cocktail only uses a handful of ingredients, but to make many of these cocktails you'll still need several bottles of various liquors- not just the basics (vodka, gin, rum, tequila) but variations (gold tequila, coconut rum) and liqueurs (blue curacao, campari, vermouth). I appreciate that nearly every recipe has a photo and that they are for the most part grouped by base alcohol. I wish the "virgin" section were a little more extensive, but there are other books for mocktails. At least this book has a listing of all the virgin cocktails that are included so they are somewhat easy to find.

So good I’m going to order another. Presents nicely and a good value.

Great quality, heavy-duty book with wonderful photos! I bought it as a housewarming gift to accompany all the bar tools like shakers, jiggers, etc. Perfect gift!

This is more like it! Good quality book and loads of great Cocktails.

Pictures and recipe is helpful. But as the description is in parts, as a real novice trying out in cocktail receipe, this is quite hard to estimate.

Was hoping for new ideas but the recipes were very basic and not imaginative. Too many of the recipes called for mint which i personally do not like in my beverages
