Perfect size, good quality for price
This is the second Lenovo that I have purchased and I am so glad I did! I actually ordered a different tablet / laptop and was so disappointed I sent it back. I realized my mistake and went right back to the Lenovo. SO happy I did! It has everything I wanted on it at the size that is perfect for me. It also didn't break the bank for what you get. It is a quality machine that is easy to use and doesn't blow through the battery in 15 minutes like some. It's perfect.

No Problems Here!
My old laptop broke so I needed to order a new one quick! The 13-1215u is a great laptop processor for school and light gaming, so a good option for students. Seller ships fast and include everything as specified!

HUGE disappointment.
HUGE disappointment. Prior to this, I had a Lenovo Flex 5 that I loved. So much, that I bought this updated 5i 4 years later when the case on my orig. Lenovo started cracking at the corners. This 5i is slow, frequently freezes up, becomes nonresponsive. Touchpad is alternatingly ultra sensitive or non responsive. Lenovo Support sucks. When I tried to use their migration assist software to transfer files from old Lenovo to new Lenovo using Lenovo software, it didn't work. Lenovo took no interest, and no responsibility. The transfer software worked beautifully on the orig. Lenovo. Slow to wake, and never wakes in the same place. SO SORRY I bought this. Fingerprint reader doesn't work.

This IdeaPad Flex 5i with Intel Core 3i, 8GB RAM, and 1 TB SSD storage is a great deal.
Recently bought an IdeaPad Flex 5i 14IAU7 with 12th Gen Intel Core i3-1215U 120 GHz, 8.00 GB installed RAM (soldered), upgraded SSD with 1 Terabyte storage, and Windows 11 Home Edition with S Mode. It ultimately replaces my 12-year-old higher-end Dell Inspiron with Windows 10 and no ability to update to Windows 11. The new Ideapad is used for word processing with an excellent non-Microsoft application that resembles and functions like Office suite, but for about $15 per year. Even though my IdeaPad came loaded with Windows in S Mode, which if kept intact, limits me to Microsoft-vetted apps from the Microsoft Store, there are many very good non-Microsoft apps like the aforementioned Office-liike app, as well as MS apps available in the MS store. I personally prefer the extra bit of security in S Mode, and intend to stay with it on this new and uninfected laptop. I do no gaming on this laptop. It works flawlessly for my purposes: word processing, medium web browsing and research, medium streaming (NetFlix, YouTube), and checking and responding to e-mails. The Microsoft Edge browser is very good, and I like it better than Chrome. Battery life on this Lenovo Flex is very good, and before I switched to Dark Mode on the screen, I was getting 7 to 9 hours with heavy use before needing to recharge the battery. After I switched to Dark Mode, I now get 10 to 12 hours of heavy use; and my eyes feel much better with the lessened glare of the screen at bright settings. As I mentioned, I do not use this new IdeaPad for any serious gaming. I have seen some gaming demonstrations of how this Ideapad Flex performs. It is capable of at least decent gaming performance on most older and lower-tier games, but struggles with many AAA or top tier games that demand higher system requirements to run smoothly. All in all, this is really a great, enjoyable, and affordable option, if you intend to put it to normal, everyday use versus higher-end uses that require higher-end software and hardware. Final note, I used the money I saved with this laptop deal to get a nice little adjustible laptop tray (Saiji), a nice small mouse, and a LogiTech MX Master S2 bluetooth mouse (without USB unifying receiver). Believe me, these items (especially the wireless mouse) greatly enhance my enjoyment of my new IdeaPad Flex. I highly recommend them, as well.

Nice but needs more processor speed
With the 8GB of RAM, my computer locks up, should have went with a higher processor speed

Great customer service
The laptop will not turn on anymore after using it a little bit after opening few hours before. It had 99% battery left. Unable charge either. Disappointed big time Update: Was able to send to Lenovo and they fixed the issue at no charge. Did have to do the Windows bitkey restart which did take some time. No problems since.

Increadible Laptop
I have had my laptop for 5 years, since COVID-19 hit. It worked great for online school, and is still working strong. The only reason I am even looking for a new one is because somebody **cough cough Dad** sat on it and cracked the screen. Still going strong after over 5 years together.

Worst laptop I've even had out of 5+ brands
Update to my previous 3 star review after a few more weeks use. Worst laptop I have ever had. Takes a good 2 mins to wake from sleep, that's if its battery didn't die while sleeping. Takes another minute to stop spinning and actually accept input. Typing is laggy and touchpad is so insensitive to a tap for a "click" you have to go to the bottom right (I'm left handed) and actually click. Original: Battery life is appalling for a new laptop, and it takes ages to boot from sleep. Otherwise it functions as a laptop just fine.
