Good item for old cameras that uses non available batteries
a useful item to use with old cameras that need old batteries that is hard to find nowadays. Works perfectly with easy to find batteries available nowadays and it has 2 pieces included so can be used for 2 cameras and a good value purchase.

Perfect fit for my SRT-102
I got this because like a lot of people I have a Minolta SRT camera. I was getting tired of how quickly the weincells die once you open them and how pricy they are. So I got this thing so I could use LR44 batteries in my camera (And recalibrated the meter). So far so good! A perfect fit for both the battery and the battery compartment.

These work, but I've since learned they're not necessary
These work just fine adapting a battery to fit into your older camera, but I've since found that you can, in fact, use a modern battery that fits without these adapters even if the voltage is too high. All you have to do is shoot at a lower ISO to compensate for the meter reading too high. Example: shoot a roll of ISO 400 film at 200, but have it developed at 400, and they turn out just fine.

Works great in my old Minolta Hi-Matic E camera
My old Minolta Hi-Matic E 35mm camera used mercury batteries back when it was new. Obviously, these are no longer available. There are all sorts of hacks to use modern batteries, most involving folded aluminum foil. These battery adaptors are an inexpensive and much better solution. They fit perfectly in the camera. I use Wein Air Cell batteries in them for my camera.

Great adapter for using cheap batteries for old cameras
These adapters are very well made and they have a plus sign on the front to facilitate correct battery placement.
