2000W Pool Heater for Inflatable Above Ground Swimming Pool, Immersion Water Heater for Bathtub with Thermostat, Submersible Electric Water Heater, Portable Bucket Heater with 304 Stainless Guard

I ordered this on 10/15/24 . So I have used it ten times about a month. It did well heating up my porta spa. I don't think it's made of Stainless Steel. If you use this guy, rinse it off with fresh water, and possibly open the bottom and spray it down with some oil based protection. Catastrophic failure due to corrosion, my spa is lightly chlorinated. No salt. If I can't get a replacement element I will definitely look for stainless steel construction.

This immersion water heater was great when it functioned because you can set a specific temp, and then it automatically stops heating once it reaches the set temp. The disappointing thing was this only worked for two weeks, and now it kicks off the breaker every time, so the heater was not worth the $46.00 that was spent.

While there is an LCD thermometer during the testing of this produce the provided units thermometer was wildly inaccurate at all times. Claim: VERSATILE IMMERSION HEATER: Immersion water heater portable and submersible design makes it easy to use and convenient. TRUE: Even with a malfunctional thermometer, this heater still did a good job heating up our soaking tub of water. Claim: DURABLE AND SAFE: UL Certified features US plug, and 304 stainless guard True. These features are present on the provided unit. Claim: FAST HEATING FOR LARGE VOLUMES: Electric hot water heater can heat up to 5-20 gallons of water in minutes. TRUE. Provided the volume of water is closer to 5 gallons than 20 and starts around room temp, then yes it can heat it up in minutes. However, if it is closer to 20 gallons that is around 68F, it takes over an hour to get to "hot" Summary: At $45 dollars this is a pretty good buy. While it worked rather nicely, our unit will need to be returned because it came with a bum thermometer. It is a nonessential part of the unit but does limit some of it functionality. When reading other reviews be aware that if you do not allow this unit to cool down a bit in the water before you remove it and follow other instructions you will severely reduce its lifespan. Thermocycling anything is a pretty sure way to destroy it. This is a good product and worth the price it is current selling.

This heater did not disappoint when it came to heating our big pool. It doesn't take long to heat up and once it does it keeps it comfortable temperature to swim even at night. We never had any issues with it and shut it off if we weren't using it to be safe.

Heated the water just fine, but it shorted out 2 weeks into use. Do not see a way to contact the vendor

I purchased two and one was defective. It was probably replaced. My gas heater had gone out on my Jacuzzi and parts were backward. I use these devices to heat up about 250 gallons of water. In about 36 hours, the water temperature has risen from 60° to 103°. I was quite pleased.

The heater failed after 4 days of usage. It tripped the ground fault breaker serving it. The heater is pretty much a worthless piece of junk to me now. Not worth what I paid for it. This is my first bad experience with an Amazon purchase.

This is amazing accidentally left it on overnight and turned the kids pool into a hot tub. Have it in a bucket with stones so it sinks and doesn’t melt the side of the pool
