The media could not be loaded. I took a chance on this. I like the Levoit brand, I have an air purifier by them. It works great. But, there were mixed reviews on many of their humidifiers. This one, in particular, I liked the best because of the size and price but it had zero reviews. On their website, it says "new" so I guess that's why. But, I am really glad I bought this. It is so quiet, it doesn't make bubbling or gurgling noises like my Vicks humidifier did. It's a top fill which makes it really easy to pour the water in. It's a perfect size too! I keep it on my nightstand. I do have a little washcloth under it just in case it does leak because my old humidifier did all the time, but it has not yet so it's just a precaution. Despite it being smaller than my old humidifier, when filled to the max fill line it lasts pretty long before needing a refill, which is nice. It doesn't take very long to clean and comes with a brush to get in the nook and crannies (or you can just use a paper towel). It's amazing. I also love how simple it is. There was a similar one that connected to an app, but sometimes that stuff doesn't work right. This has a simple on-off dial and you adjust to how much mist you want coming out. Very easy.Now, something I have realized from scrolling through hundreds of reviews for other Levoit humidifiers and non-Levoit ones, most people don't know how to use humidifiers properly. First off, you need to read the instruction manual. There you will learn you need to use purified or distilled water. If you don't want to go and buy either of those from the store constantly, then don't use a humidifier. I buy distilled water in the jugs from the water aisle. This is especially important if you live somewhere with hard water. I live in Arizona and we have very hard water (and our house has no soft water filter), I used to use tap water in my old warm mist humidifier and there would be so much mineral build-up. I know better now. Apparently, if you use tap water in a cool-mist humidifier, it may cause white dust around the unit. But, since I use distilled I have not had this issue. You will also learn from the manual how and how often to clean it. You should clean it when it's brand new, you should change the water daily, and you should clean it every 3 days. There are also instructions to do a deep clean if necessary. I use vinegar to clean it as per the instructions every 2-3 days. Also, I make sure to clean every little corner and clean the inside of the top spout. I have seen SO many reviews where people complain of mold (in other models) and this is almost always because they aren't cleaning their humidifier enough or cleaning it properly. I saw a one-star review and the entire base and inside were filled with dark green mold, they said they hadn't cleaned it in 3 weeks! That's crazy! Please don't do that! As long as you take care of your humidifier, use it right, and clean it right you will have no mold problem.I have had it for 2 weeks now. I live in Arizona so it's about 5% humidity here. My skin is so dry and after coming back from a Caribbean vacation (where it is very humid), I knew I needed more moisture in the air and this humidifier has done the trick. My skin is doing so much better now. I also have pretty bad allergies and my nose feels much less dry all the time, too which is nice. I highly recommend it!!!

These are great!!! This does an excellent job of bringing the humidity up and maintaining it. The settings are in a touch screen and so easy to read and use. I'm short and in my late 70's with arthritis in both my hands so I needed a product that was lightweight and easy to use. It's the perfect size for a bedroom. To fill with water you just lift off the plastic top and pour the water in. To empty and clean, you just lift the water tank off the base and tip it into the sink. The round cap on the top pulls off for easy cleaning, and both the water tank and the base are easy to clean. I do recommend that, unless you are using distilled water, you clean the tank and base weekly or there will be a build up of scum or whatever it is that gets harder to clean over time.

I got this humidifier because I cannot sleep if there is any visible light in my room, and this is one of the only ones I could find with no lights. It works fine humidifying my bedroom, even here in very dry Colorado. However, as other reviewers have noted, this humidifier quickly develops a pink mold problem. You must completely disassemble the tank part of the unit to clean it, which is not easy to figure out. There is a center piece that is clipped in, if you do not unclip and clean it a "mother" of pink mold grows, and then you can never defeat the mold problem. On the other hand, it's fairly easy to figure out how to remove the filter piece. However, there's another cylindrical part whose function I don't understand, and we could only get it unclipped using vice grips. Also, be very careful re-assembling the unit. If you do not get it seated properly on the little blue seal (which you will see once you take the tank completely apart) the unit will leak badly when water is added. Also you must use filtered or distilled water unless you're okay with the filter turning brown.

This humidifier works great and I felt like I was sleeping and felt better after just a few nights. We only have to refill it about every 2-3 days and you can't even hear it when its on. However, be careful where you place it. We originally had it on the floor and we woke up the first morning with our floor completely soaked - we thought we had knocked over a drink in our sleep. The next night, we moved it to the night stand, the mist coming out completely soaked the bed and the night stand. We decided it was best to keep a towel underneath and keep it on a low low setting.

We live in Wyoming at 5400 ft, and the air is dry most of the year. We find that by running a humidifier in our bedroom, our noses are much happier. There is a clear difference between the humidifier running and not running. We set our Levolt 200 on the app to run from 7 in the evening until 6 in the morning, which works fine. We particularly like the humidistat, which controls the level we set for the humidity. Since the water tank is a light blue and I can see through it, I can easily keep track of the water level. Plus, with the automatic control to turn off if the water is depleted, no worries about the unit running empty. Strong recommendation for this unit.

This humidifier is great! We bought 2 of these this past winter when our winter colds & early spring allergies were at their worst. They each work well in the bedroom and in our kitchen & living room. Even helped our dog who had a very dry nose & was really sneezy to feel better quickly. I bought them to replace other brand cool mist humidifiers that didn't last more than a year or 2 and were so difficult to keep clean. The design is such that you can easily clean & dry them in between uses. It's nice that this model is "smart" and we can make adjustments from the app but that was not the reason for purchase. We wanted easy to clean & the ability to easily change out the filter. Happy so far. We have not yet tried using any essential oil in ours but will try that soon.
