I had purchased this because I was working with some thin wire that I did not want to cut too often. Every time I had a connection this worked perfectly, I never broke the wire stripping the insulation. I have since used it for electrical wires when replacing some switches and outlets, and it made the job much easier. Quality product at a very good price. I am very pleased with the purchase.

I am not sure how I ever lived without this. After seeing an online video of someone using one of these I had to give it a try. Found this option for a great price. I have not idea how it works but it strips the wire perfectly and effortlessly every time. It somehow knows exactly how much pressure and how deep to score the protective covering without damaging any of the actual wire. The best use so far has been in gangways where there is not enough wire to strip it manually - this reaches in and can work with the smallest amount of wire. This is a must have for any DIY guy,

Always breaks / pulls off a few strands. Maybe the gripper part is too sharp? Otherwise works great and is fast.

It’s ok tool in a pinch, but the stripping was hit or miss with it clipping some of the 16 gauge and below wires. Tried adjusting multiple ways for about a day and ended up buying a different type of stripper and or using old school tool.

I received this item in time for a rewiring project. The product appears sturdy at first, but does not function at all correctly. The portion of the handle designed to hold the section of wire immediately abutting the portion to be stripped has near zero friction. This means that when the stripping section engages, it simply pulls the wire into the device without stripping it. The supposed adjustment knob to increase stripping power is useless. After attempting to use it on residential grade electrical wiring, I abandoned it and went back to using a utility knife. I am returning this 2 days after it arrived. This is a disappointing product given that there are many stripper out there that work properly. I had seen them before and the mechanism was simple. I assumed an inexpensive version would use cheaper materials, but would function the same. Using care, I could extend the life of the product. But, this came with reasonably sturdy materials and a mechanism that is flawed.

Working good

I was excited for this stripper but when i started using it it seems the pressure adjustment screw just doesn't work or doesn't do anything or something. No matter what i do there's no difference in pressure and it rips my cables. I can only use it for thicker cables unfortunately. The size of the stripper fits perfectly in my hand i was really hoping it worked :(

I wish I could have found this earlier. Could have saved me so much work. This is awesome!
