Home station
This weather station was very easy to set up. The anemometer can be mounted on a vertical surface, horizontal surface or onto a pole. It comes with all the brackets and hardware for mounting. The anemometer and the thermal-hyro sensor Require AAA batteries that are not included. The display console runs off of AC power but has the ability to run off of AAA batteries should it need back up power. The display console is extremely easy to read with it large numbers and bright colorful background. It has the ability to be the single receiver for up to eight transmitters. Each of the thermostat-hydro transmitters has a DIP switch inside so that the positions can be changed so that each transmitter is on a different channel. I tested the transmission speed from the anemometer transmission to the receiver console. The new wind speed and direction were recalculated and displayed within a few seconds. The receiver console also connects to Wi-Fi. I can add a device to already existing Wunderground, PWSweather and weathercloud accounts or create new accounts to upload my weather data. There are two different manuals. One is for the weather station. There are a lot of other features that can be programmed and mit can even me manually calibrated. This manual has the step by step directions clearing laid out. The second manual is for the wifi setup. It includes step by step instructions as well as printed screenshots of the wifi setup on a computer to make it as simple and full proof as possible.

Accurate thus far
Still testing it, but it seems reasonably accurate. Very easy to setup.

Works great for me at 150’ range
Works great and have installed about 150’ from base station. Takes 9 “AAA” batteries - hopefully lasts a long time. Wind sensor has solar to supplement, so expect those batteries to last. Base unit plugs in, so those should last too. Temp sensor only needs 2 “AAA”s.

Outside temperature disappeared after three months.
This unit worked well until it didn't. We had this for three months without a problem. Easy setup, gave us information we needed. I was happy until the outside temperature disappeared. Only had it three months. I have tried everything. Resetting it using the cancel button, moving the remote sensor closer and further away, even changing the batteries in all three units. Nothing brings it back up. Guess I will have to buy another unit, just not this one.

Great for info on temperature and wind
Great weather station! It’s a little difficult to set up initially with the wifi (just have to make sure you’re using the power adapter instead of batteries for initially setup). Also, you’ll need 10 AAA batteries. Once connected it seems to go a good job and automatically sets the time. Temperature readings seem accurate.

It's like I'm the local weatherman now.
Dad's everywhere can unite around this item. Now I update my family daily with the weather as if I was on TV. I stuck the little wind meter on top of my kids playhouse. I put the indication screen in front of my wife sink. I have the humidity monitor and temperature transmitter on the back porch. This thing is awesome! It shows the date, time, temperatue, humidity, wind gust speed, average wind speed, wind direction, and just about everything else you can think of. It was very easy to set up, and is easy to use. I really like how it tells you the temperature and humidity inside and outside.

Support Department is Golden
The weather station works well until it didn't. I experienced some issues after a couple of months with the weather station on my tri-band network. It dropped off and would not link back up with my WiFi. I contacted their support department who were quite supportive and continued to work with me until we figured out that it needed to connect to a 2.4Ghz WiFi WLAN. Once I created the 2.4Ghz WLAN on my access point it connected without a hitch. I cannot say enough superlatives about their support department.
