These are the best flavour dextrose tablets and buying them this way is far more convenient and cost effective than picking them up individually at the pharmacy. They are effective at quickly raising your blood sugar level as needed. They’re easy to chew and swallow. The only downside to them is the packaging doesn’t really allow for any way of easily resealing the packet once opened, and if you leave a packet open and just folded over like in a bag then they do have a habit of going hard and becoming unusable after some time.

One thing worth mentioning if you’re buying the 24-pack is shelf life. These keep for ages, so there’s no worry about them going out of date before you get through them. I always have a few packs at home and a couple in my bag or car, and they’re ready whenever they’re needed. They also dissolve very easily. Unlike harder glucose tablets that you end up chewing for ages, these break down quickly in your mouth and almost turn liquid when you swallow them. When you’re low and your mouth feels dry, that makes them much easier to take, and they do seem to help a bit with hydration at the same time rather than leaving your mouth feeling chalky. Flavour-wise, this Tropical version is fine, but it’s not my favourite. Having tried nearly all the flavours now i can safely say that Blackcurrant is the best. So purely based on flavour this gets 4 stars. I always carry these particular Dextrose tablets as they also have other added benefits, such as added Vitamin C, B6, B12 etc - these actually have 10 additional vitamins in total. Buying them in bulk from Amazon is also far cheaper than supermarkets. At around 57p per pack, they’re well under the usual high street prices, even when those are on offer. If you regularly need glucose tablets, buying them this way just makes sense.

Love these, great for quick pick me up, or if having a night time hypo, won't keep blood sugar up for long, but worth the money buying in bulk, works out cheaper.

these are very good for diabetics needing a quick dose of glucose, The taste is cola and it is strong but not over powering ,They store very easily and do not take up much space at all, Easily can be slipped into a pocket or handbag with plenty of room for a mobile phone or insulin pump reader, They can feel a bit chalky as you are chewing them but that goes away very quickly

Best flavour by far and seems to be very hard to find in shops so to find a whole box for a good price it's a no brainer. Being type 1 diabetic it's always good to be stocked up.

Love the product but seller should be ashamed to take advantage of ppl!!!! Not impressed paid like $18 for one pack, really come on not reasonable at all. Will not buy from this company again. Da ich Traubenzucker mehrfach in der Woche nehme, um meinen Blutzucker wieder in den grünen Bereich zu bringen, brauche ich immer mal wieder eine Abwechslung in der Geschmacksrichtung. Der Geschmack von tropischen Früchten ist ganz nett und erfüllt für eine gewisse Zeit meine Erwartungen. Das große Plus dieses Produktes ist seine Verpackung. Man trägt den Riegel Traubenzucker handlich verpackt in der Hosen- oder Jackentasche und kann den Zucker in Sekundenschnelle auspacken und essen. Das mag banal klingen, ist für einen Diabetiker aber wichtig. Bei anderen Produkten muss man jedes einzelne Zuckertäfelchen erst mühsam aus der Plasikhülle herauspulen und dann dafür sorgen das statischklebende Plastik von den Fingern zu schütteln. Bei Unterzuckerung ist der Körper im Stressmodus und will schnell aus dieser Situation heraus und sich nicht mit Hindernissen auseinandersetzen müssen. Das ist bei diesem Produkt sehr gut gelungen. Einfach zu öffnende Verpackung und der ganze Inhalt steht zur Verfügung.
