Perfect Low-Profile Flash Drive - Fast, Reliable, and Convenient
I purchased the 128GB version of this SanDisk Ultra Fit drive about three months ago, and it has quickly become one of my most-used tech accessories. What makes this drive stand out: The compact design is brilliant. Once plugged into my laptop, it sits nearly flush with the USB port - so low-profile that I can leave it in permanently without worrying about it getting bumped or broken. This is perfect for expanding my laptop's storage without carrying around a bulky external drive. The speed is impressive. I regularly transfer large video files and photo libraries, and the transfer rates are noticeably faster than my old flash drives. Moving a couple of gigabytes takes minutes instead of the tedious wait I used to endure. The claim about transferring a movie in under 30 seconds is accurate in my experience with USB 3.0 ports. The 128GB capacity gives me plenty of room for documents, media files, and backups. I use it to store my entire photo library with space to spare. The password protection feature (via downloadable software) is a nice security touch, though I haven't personally needed it yet. Minor notes: The drive does get slightly warm during heavy use, but nothing concerning. Also, make sure you have a USB 3.0 port to take full advantage of the speed - it works with USB 2.0 but will be significantly slower. Bottom line If you need reliable, fast, and unobtrusive storage expansion for your laptop or other devices, this drive is excellent value for the money. It's become an essential part of my daily workflow. Highly recommended!

A Shockingly Capable Drive in an Almost Invisible Form Factor
The SanDisk 1TB Ultra Fit USB 3.2 Gen 1 is one of those rare storage devices that feels almost unreal in the hand—because it practically isn’t there. The plug‑and‑stay design is barely larger than a fingernail, yet it delivers a full terabyte of storage in a form factor that disappears into a laptop, car stereo, or console without protruding or snagging. Out of the box, the usable capacity lands around 931GB, which is normal for flash storage; manufacturers calculate 1TB as one trillion bytes, while operating systems use binary measurement (1TB = 1,099,511,627,776 bytes), so the “missing” space is simply math, not a defect. Despite its tiny footprint, performance is surprisingly strong. Real‑world read speeds hover near the advertised 400MB/s, especially when transferring large, contiguous files. Write speeds are naturally lower—as expected for compact USB 3.2 Gen 1 drives—but still fast enough for media libraries, game installs, and bulk document transfers without feeling sluggish. Heat stays controlled during sustained writes, and the drive maintains stable throughput without the dramatic throttling common in ultra‑compact USB sticks. If you need massive storage in a device small enough to forget about, this is one of the most efficient, unobtrusive solutions available. It’s a deceptively powerful little workhorse that earns its place in any everyday‑carry tech kit.

Incredibly Tiny, Deceptively Fast - My Go-To Drive for Large Files
I needed a high-capacity flash drive that I could leave plugged into my laptop without it sticking out and risking being snapped off. The SanDisk Ultra Fit is famous for its tiny, low-profile design, and this 512GB model was the perfect "plug-and-forget" solution I was looking for. Real-World Speed & Performance For a drive this small, the performance is impressive. While it's not going to match an external SSD, it's incredibly fast for a flash drive. I regularly use it to move large game installation folders and video files between my desktop PC and my laptop. I was able to transfer a 20GB folder in just a couple of minutes, which is fantastic. For smaller files, it's nearly instant. My Primary Uses & Usability This drive's versatility is its biggest strength. It's become my go-to for a few key tasks: Semi-Permanent Laptop Storage: I leave it plugged into my laptop to carry files I need on the go, effectively expanding its storage without a bulky external drive. PC Building & Maintenance: It's the perfect drive for flashing motherboard BIOS updates on my PC builds. Media Playback: I load it up with movies and TV shows to plug directly into my smart TV's USB port. It handles 4K playback without any issues. A Note on Build and Heat The two most common concerns with this drive are its plastic build and the heat it generates. Yes, the all-plastic construction feels a bit delicate, so I wouldn't recommend putting it on a keychain that gets tossed around a lot. And it does get quite warm during long, sustained file transfers—that's normal for a drive this compact and fast. In my experience, it has never been hot enough to cause concern or impact performance. Final Verdict: The Best Low-Profile Drive Out There If you need a massive amount of storage in the smallest possible package, the SanDisk Ultra Fit is the undisputed champion. It's perfect for expanding laptop storage, for use in car stereos, or for anyone who needs a reliable, high-speed drive that stays out of the way. The convenience and performance it offers are well worth it.

Fast drive!
Works great after I format it to FAT32 extended beyond 32 bit limit to see it up to 128GB. It took me awhile to figure how to do that. My system didn't recognize as is since it was formatted as xFAT. My system only recognize FAT32 but needs to be extended to work. If you don't have a finicky system then you can use as is. Mine I had to configure it first. Other than that, it works great.

It's an OK quality drive with good speed.
Drive is fast. Beware that the whole drive is plastic. The part that goes into the USB port is very thin and flexible. I do not feel this will be as resilient as other drives I have had. I will be putting this on my keychain, so time will tell how well it lasts. When formatting it, the raw unformated space is 460GB. Which I consider a fairly significant decrease from the advertised 512GB. This might be something to consider if you are looking for a drive that is closer to 500GB.

Sensacional para transportar grandes ficheros, toda la colección de música o varias películas en FHD. También puedes aumentar fácilmente la capacidad de almacenamiento del portátil. Y aún sería mejor si hubiese de 2Tb
