Perfect for the guy with less than perfect shape
I'm a big guy, but not pear-shaped. Most stuff for big guys tend to be cut for the pear or blob shaped. I however, just have a huge gut. The rest of me is shaped pretty normal. So most 5x sized shirts tend to look like Omar the Tent-maker sewed em up. Let's face it, nothing is going to flatter my shape and I don't expect miracles. But man is it nice to put this thing on.Covers the tummy completely, which almost NEVER happens with any shirt. I almost always order XLT's to get enough out front to cover the gut (resulting in the huge, sail-like profile of most shirts), but this does. And without 50" long sleeves or other silly looking results.Bottom line, if you're a big guy with a big gut, you'll like this sweatshirt. Best fitting one I've ever found.

Quality issues therefore Overpriced.
Great fit for this 4xlt sweatshirt but seams started coming off the neck after the 2nd wash! For 35 dollars that's a travesty! I wanted to work out in these sweats so now I know they will fall apart after one season.. Material of this shirt leaves something to be desired also since the weave is not that tight. I throw away some Adidas sweats because I had them for years and I was bored with the way they looked. I really regret doing that since they were still in great shape! It's so hard to find sweats in tall sizes like 3xlt and 4xlt and I know Russell can do better.

Nice weight and length.
My husband searched high and low for a big and tall sweatshirt without a hood that was long enough for him and had a nice weight to it. This fit the bill. Not too skimpy in any way.

Very Well Made, Durable, and Extremely Warm
We purchased a couple of these during the $10 off $40 purchase and were pleasantly surprised with the quality. Frequently, it is hard to judge whether a particular brand of clothing will run small or larger, but know up front these do run on the larger end. The shirts are very thick and are some of the warmest sweatshirts we have ever come across - you won't keep these on long in a warm house. The only minor complaint we could express is they are a bit stiffer than others, but that is likely due to the weave and why they are so warming. The cuffs are not quite as snug as we would like, but it's better than being tight. Overall, for the price and quality, these can't be beat.

Not like my other Russell sweats.
Size runs a bit small. Significantly thinner material than my older Russell sweatshirts. Has a definite odor out of the bag, recommend wash before any wear. Made in Pakistan. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Wasn't expecting that either. Would not recommend for very cold outdoor wear. Too thin and lightweight. I'm used to Pro Club heavy sweatshirt material.

Great Quality... Excellent Price!
It's nice to see that you can get an inexpensive, high quality, heavy weight sweatshirt, without spending a whole paycheck at the local Big & Tall men's store. We picked up the 6XL Cardinal Red when it was only $9.60 and the 6XL Forest Green at $16.00... regardless of the price, they were a steal... especially with the Free Shipping! The stitching is very tight and durable. The neck sizes were perfect and the cuffs are nice, too. These are perfect cooler-cold weather sweatshirts. Being that the fleece inside is very warm and plush. Also, they look great with a turtle or mock neck, too.All in all, we're very pleased with with the quality and fit of these sweatshirts. We definitely plan on purchasing even more, in the near future.

Not Fit for the Borgnine
There are plenty of us burly folks with thick necks and a muscle or two, who do not want to feel squeezed in our attire. This ungenerous sweatshirt is composed of thin fabric cinched on top by a too-tight neck. I should have read David Marvin's true and informative 1-star review. This is over-priced for the low quality. I've bought thicker, better quality sweatshirts from WalMart. That's how cheaply made this thing is. I can't tolerate a tight neck pulling on me all day like a rabid dachshund; totally uncomfortable to say the least. As the group Little Big Town sings on their CD The Reason Why , "There's a price for keeping me, I may be cheap, but I ain't free..." This cheap fuzzy offering in larger sizes (2x, etc.) turned out better: Soffe Men's Classic Crew Neck Sweatshirt .

Sweatshirt is just what I ordered. Soft feel and will be comfy. I got an 3XLT and should have got a 3x but I knew there was a chance it would be a little long. I wanted it big so it would fit over my clothes and it is just right. The sleeves are a little long but I expected that as well. I’m planning for a little shrinkage after drying it a couple of times.
