This product helped heal my open wound faster than a regular gauge. It doesn’t stick to the skin-although I did spread a little manukau honey which I was told draws out bacteria. They can be cut to fit under a large bandage. The price was ok but it’s worth the money.

First a little back story-I have a weak ankle. After suffering a broken foot, one of the byproducts of a poorly fitted brace was a huge pressure sore on the bottom of my foot. I am not diabetic, but the sore did get infected and was hard to heal. Silver Alginate pads were key to healing my foot. Clean the wound, place a Everlit AG Silver Calcium Alginate pad on the bottom of my foot where the sore was located and change the pad every other day. I use coband to secure the alginate pad on the bottom of my foot. Athletic tape could also work to keep everything secure. My wound is not bleeding as much as when the wound first opened and the diameter of the wound is getting smaller. These pads seem are within the range of other products for wound care on Amazon. I bought the 10 pack because it presented a good value compared to other brands. Also, when I went to wound care before I was paying $50 a visit. This product saves me money. I know how to care for the wound, and will go to the hospital if I see signs of infection.

This is our nursing team’s preferred go to Silver Alginate product. We tried about seven or eight dressings in the same price range on Amazon, and our team like this one the best. Will continue to purchase so long as quality and price remain the same.

anything that is 15,000 ppm of silver has my attention,, you wont find anything close to this on amazon or anywhere else.... I use a little silver gell on it so it wont stick,, this seaweed is some dehydrating stuff for sure....
