Pool Vacuum Head

I’ve only used it once. I had that very light layer on the sides a bottom that will just cloud up when you brush them. I had also tried the normal wide vacuum attachment with wheels. This one worked great! One caveat, I used it from inside the pool vs outside the pool. I went pretty slow and it took a good hour or so, but it was super effective with the brushes and suction. Another note, I adjusted all of the valves to turn off both skimmer baskets. I can’t speak to how long it lasts, but for a good vacuum and brush cleaning this did the trick.

Just used this for the first time this season and it works great! The brushes along the edge and sides work great to sweep the debris into the hose. I also love that it is weighted so it sinks to the bottom quicker and easier. Attached to my hose nicely and other than attaching one small part to complete assembly it was super easy to use. For reference I have an above ground pool that is 24’ round and 52” deep.

At first I really liked it. It was easy to put together. I used it to vacuum when I was opening pool. While vacuuming the gray screw on piece fell off and it unattached from the hose. The water wasn't clear yet so I could not find the piece to put it back together. I think when I do find the piece I will put a spot of glue to make sure it stays on. I really like all the brushes so hope that the glue will fix the problem

A pool vacuum that works! This design is great and helped us clean up our above ground pool quickly. It worked well with our sand filter and is a great size and weight. For the price, I highly recommend!

I’ve been a pool owner for 28 years, so Im not a rookie at vacuuming a pool. In these years, I have had to get a new vacuum head for one reason or another. For the first time, I didn’t buy one like I’ve always had. I decided it would be good to have the one that also had brushes outside of the vacuum. WELL, BIG MISTAKE! I’m vacuuming and I hear something loud that sounded like something busted. Low and behold, something did! The skimmer plate blew out of the skimmer. I went to put it back only to discover that the basket had broken and sunk to the bottom of the skimmer housing. To top it off, it created a crack or hole in the pipe and now I have air in the line and will have to spend hundreds to get that repaired! I’m attaching pics and a video. Pics will show how much water shot out of the skimmer, how the basket broke, how the ring that the basket sits on is no longer connected. The video shows the air that is in the line. The round gray ring I am holding and the green piece blew out of the vacuum head and i had to retrieve them with the net. DO NOT BUY this! If I could give it negative stars, I would. I can still send it back because I’m still within the return window; however, that refund won’t even come close to what I’m going to have to spend to get the pipe and skimmer housing repaired or replaced. I just want to cry and scream at the same time!!!

Bought this last season and it was a nice addition to the “pool tools”. I use it to suck up anything, mostly insects, that we find every morning in the bottom of the pool. Like the side brushes and the connection is pretty secure. The old one always fell off. We’ll see how this holds up this coming season.

Salt Water Pool...the bristles on our old vacuum head disintegrated, so we purchased this one to replace it. So, in direct comparison, our old head had heavier weights, so it was much easier to keep on the bottom, especially when pulling back towards yourself. The old one had bristles on all three corners of its triangular shape; the new head has the front two only. The new one does scrub and vacuum but, it is not as easy to use. I would not buy again.

I love the design, weight and functionality. It is a thousand times better than my old vacuum head. I can vacuum my pool in half the time as before. Love it!
