Anyone who vacuums meals knows that for moist foods, it is best to freeze first. These 4 cup silicone molds have rigid framing which makes filling them, transferring to freezer much easier. The best part is, once frozen, the meal pops right out and fits nicely in gallon food saver bags. The molds have snap on lids which makes it easier to stack in freezer. Once in the vacuum bag, because they are all the same size, they stack nicely in freezer.

I have fairly strict dietary limitations. I prepare meals on weekends and they are ready to go for the week. These are perfect 1 cup servings, freeze and stack very nicely. The silicone makes release very easy. The lid does fit snuggly and I have had no problem with leak or spillage, but the lid fits so snuggly, takes real effort for this 70yr old, to get off. But overall, very pleased.

I love these things!! I enjoy making soups and stews but I’ve struggled to find a good way to save individual portions in the freezer. These work for me. I’m freezing them in my kitchen freezer, removing the frozen blocks and wrapping them in freezer paper for the deep freezer. Now I have a bin full of my favorite soups ready to go. These are sturdy with a strong rim and tight fitting lid. I have to use a blunt knife to pry up the lid but that’s a small price to pay for a secure lid. I coat the silicone with a dab of olive oil before I add the hot food. The frozen blocks slide out easily and the silicone cleans up with a swish of sudsy water. The sides have raised lines for portion control to help make standard blocks. They even show on the frozen blocks! I like that I can make small or large blocks using the portion guide. These have been a game changer for me. Highly recommended!

Works great to freeze small amounts

Picked the set up specifically because the diameter of each square is small enough to fit into an average soup bowl when frozen. I gave it a try last night froze some portions of butternut squash and red lentil curry. They pop right out of the molds with zero issues and bonus are small enough to fit in a 6x10 vacuum sealer bag.

I bought these on a whim because I saw a review for them on YouTube. I've been using glass containers for a long time to freeze meals, but you really have to think ahead with them...if you forget to take them out of the freezer several hours ahead of time, you're stuck! You can't pour warm water on them without risking them shattering. And if you remove the lid before it's thawed, it can easily crack. With these, you can take them out of the freezer EASILY instantly pop out a portion, and put the rest back. I couldn't believe how easily the food just comes out!! They are expensive, so I expect them to last at least a decade to get my money's worth. But as long as they last, I'll be happy. Will be buying more sizes!

Frozen cubes of prepared foods can be easily popped out of the silicone mold. It's very sturdy and easy to clean. Great for stews and soups!
