Bought this for my 92 year old mother to replace an older version that she'd had for donkeys years that finally gave up the ghost. This is a great little clock with clear easy to see numerals and luminous hands, battery operated and silent so no annoying ticking when you're trying to sleep. It's got luminous hands to help with seeing the time in the dark but to supplement this if you press down on the top the whole clock face lights up so you can see it in the dark. That is the bit Mum likes best. Theres also an alarm should you need it. Yes it's cheap plastic but does the job and in my opinion good value for money.

Advertised as silent, but there is a noticeable noise if your room is quiet. Alarm starts quiet but does get loud enough to wake me up. Basic to use, light allows you to see time but only if pressing the button, it would be nice if the light stayed on for a few seconds after pressing the button. Not the prettiest clock but it is cheap and does the job.

This clock looks good and its small size makes it unobtrusive. The ticking sound is adjustable and I have it on silent.

This is exactly what I wanted. Clear face, wouquiet until the alarm rang out. small enough not to cover the bedside table and simple to set the alarm. Good price. Would recommend. Janalyst

This clock is ok. It is easy to use and keeps good time. The alarm is enough without being startling. There is a tick with the clock which is irritating.

Just what I needed for my bathroom counter. Small and sturdy. Clear and easy to read, keeps the time. There is a slight sound if I hold it to my ear, but it's not loud. Great value.

In a nutshell, 2 trusty digital and analogue alarm clocks that I have owned since my teens and that was many a decade ago have decided that old age has finally caught up with them forcing me to purchase replacements. In fairness, both still keep their time so it was the alarm aspect that was required more. So on here I come with a multitude to choose from with the usual mixed reviews. Anyway after spending a good 48 hours (not literally in one go) I finally decided on this little one. It duly arrives and is cute, white and goes with anything. Battery in, time set and what I will say, keeps the time at least for the length of time (pardon the pun) I was willing to keep it but that is where the positives end. Alarm set for 6am and it warbles at 5.30am. Now you might think, "So what! Half hour early rather than later" but what if it gets fed up with that and decides to go half an hour after allocated set time or not come on at all! I might be old but still of working/appointment/train and flight scheduled age so an alarm that pleases itself is no good to me. Contact with the seller is an eye opener. A still picture can apparently say a thousand words or in this instance, automatically detect the problem. Be laughable if I wasn't nine squid down. Yes it's a figure I can afford to part with, albeit it grudgingly if I have to write it off but is it too much to ask to have an alarm clock that rings when it is meant to?? Rhetorical question it would seem. Others seem happy enough but this old "timer" is far from.

Large clear face. I wanted to make sure the hands are long enough to point clearly to number, you’d be surprised how many have short hands and it takes a few seconds longer to get accurate time. So very pleased with it. That said, before ordering, I did read some reviews and as always there are loads of 5 star reviews and a handful of 1-2 stars. I read one that said the clock is not silent! I’ll be honest, I thought, ‘there’s always one, just looking for something to moan about’ but I have to say, if you are buying this clock to have in your bedroom, it’s NOT silent, not even close to silent. This didn’t bother me too much as I bought it for the bathroom, however, even in the few mins I’m in there, it makes my heart race a bit. It’s like a tick ‘on heat’ it is quieter than a proper ticking clock but not silent. The noise is softer but 3 times faster than a normal tick! So please bear that in mind if ordering. Otherwise, for the price it’s great.
