I use this wire loom in my engine compartment to give a factory look to my aftermarket wiring. Easy to use, protects the wire harness and looks great.

Use this a lot in the car, worked great and really nice way to clean up wiring.

Out here in the desert southwest, standard plastic wire loom fries pretty quickly, especially when subject to stresses. I bought this to replace the shattered loom under the slide of our RV, which gets extended and curled every time the slide is extended or retracted. I'm pleased with its performance so far.

I used this for wrapping speaker wires. 1/2" is the correct size for wrapping 4 speaker wires. I had to return the 1/4" size because it was too small. It's easy to cut and easy to wrap around your cables/wires. The sleeve has enough wrap pressure to hold the wires without coming undone. I've had this for 18 months and it's perfect for my usage.

I got this product because I was adding solar to an off-grid shed and I definitely didn't want to worry about fires. I've now come to understand that it really doesn't help for this particular application (the fire dangers are minimal), but it does bring me a bit of peace of mind. What I can tell you is that this really works well for covering even LARGE amounts of wires. There is one section of my cord where I have a parallel connector that is taking in SIX different cords and connectors, and this covers that amount (just barely, but still!) with relative ease. It really has a lot of structural memory, which is absolutely perfect for wrapping around the cords. It is a bit difficult to cut, which makes sense. This adds an extra layer of protection to cords, and I absolutely think it would be a welcome addition inside of walls. The durability of the product would also help protect cords from varmints, which is a bonus on top of the fireproofing. I also use it as a (admittedly expensive) cord control device, holding various cords together with short lengths of this product. It envelopes them with no problem, and helps keep the whole area a little bit cleaner looking.
