The hay smells fresh looks great, I used pets at home hay for a long time and my guinea pigs were more interested in there treats (pea flakes) then there hay and would go over to it when I gave them there last pea flake. I have a routine with my girls,morning and night 3 pea flakes while they nibble I change there food and give them fresh hay and change there water might get an extra pea flake when im done (and there fruit and vegetables on different days). But since I got this hay they run straight to it, the fresh hay smell is better then the last extra treat. I did have a large bit of wood in my with would of taken away from the 12.6 kg of hay but its to be expected they use machines that cut all the grass and they can't see whats hidden in that grass.... pets at home was much worse what I found in 5kg bags... honestly 5 stars good quality hay (my guinea pig asked me to write the review)

Had an issue with the item (which was the first time and I've been purchasing this hay every month for a while). Seller arranged a replacement and it arrived quickly and the quality was great. So much have just been unlucky with what I got before this but very pleased with their customer service and sorting the issue out quickly. Thank you - would recommend

My guinea pigs love this hay. It's quite fresh and green, but dried well enough to protect from spoilage. Bonus points ot the manufacturer for using a recyclable cardboard. The only mild drawback is the length if the hay - it would be nice if they shredded it a bit smaller to make it easier to size up for bedding.

I took a gamble on this and in some ways it paid off. Mine arrived with slight damage to the box but nothing serious, however as soon as I lifted it I knew it wasn’t as heavy as described. Mine weighed 9.3kg, so still more than double the amount we had ordered previously from a different well known brand for the same price. One of my rabbits is a fussy little madam, but even she was impressed. Mine are indoor babies so the less dust the better and this seems to be fine. Not the longest stems but they don’t seem to mind, otherwise the quality looks great to me, nothing in there that shouldn’t be! Smells nice and fresh and they seem to enjoy the taste so far.

This is not hay. The package contains a large amount of very sharp blackberry sticks and thorny branches mixed in with it. Not just one or two pieces – there are many, and some of them are quite large. My son badly injured his hand while simply trying to pick some up. The thorns are extremely sharp and this product is dangerous, not only for animals but also for anyone handling it. I am genuinely shocked that something like this is being sold as hay. It poses a real risk of injury. Avoid this product. I will be contacting Amazon as this is a serious safety concern.

Good quality and value hay. Lasts a long time before needing to order again as the box is so big. Piggies love it and are very happy
