Great quality
Nice watch made with good quality materials. Ingersoll products are top quality and look the part. This Ingersoll watch has a timeless classic look to it. The only negative is that the hands are silver against a silver open face so it is not easy to see the hands and time. Would have been better with a different colour for the hands.

Chunky, attractive and solid, great value
This is a really handsome watch and for the price it is very well made. It quite chunky and weighty, which gives it a feeling of quality. It's beautifully presented in a classic leatherette pouch and cushion. The strap is unlike any I've had before; it has two latches which clip together in the middle to form a seamless strap, almost like one of those with springs that you stretch over the wrist and they then shrink back to fit. It's really clever and helps improve the look of an often overlooked part of the watch. In terms of the face, this is the only part that I struggled to get along with. It's very busy for my liking and there is next to no contrast between the hands and the cogs & dials behind them. So a quick glance to see what time it is can be trickier than it should. This obviously depends where the hands are as some places are worse than others. It is kind of cool though to see all the mechanical parts, I just wish the hands were gold perhaps. There is no second hand on this watch, so it's not one to use for accurate timekeeping. There's also no date as well which is a strange omission. I often rely on my watch to tell me what the date is! I'm not so much fussed about the moonphase dial. I prefer a more minimalist watch. Obviously this is an automatic watch, so is best suited to someone who is likely to be wearing it on a daily basis. If you're a bit of a watch collector or only tend to wear smart looking watches like this for special occasions then chances are you'll get fed up of setting the time each time you put it on, but that's no different to other automatic watches. Overall it's a great watch for the price. You can pay silly money on watches so at £190 (price at time of review), it's excellent value and ideally priced to gift to someone.

Looks absolutely stunning, a real attention grabbing piece of art
I’ve not been a fan of standard watches since I lost my Casio watch I had as a child. They just never really interested me and recently I was more reliant on my Apple Watch for features as it comes in useful. Now, I ordered this thinking sure it looks nice and I’ll wear it for formal occasions when I’m expected to look smart and put it inside its box and in a drawer. That couldn’t have been further from the truth as I was absolutely blown away by how stunning this watch is, so much so that it’s been on constantly since receiving it and haven’t even looked back at my Apple Watch since. Sure I don’t have any fancy features on this that make my day easier but and it’s designed to do one thing which is reliably tell you the time. It does a flawless job of that and keeps itself well wound to the point where I’ve not really wound it except for the day I received it. The coil has always wound itself nice and tightly thanks to the large internal automatic winding mechanism. I haven’t yet referred to the manual to find out how the dual time works and how you set the second time but I haven’t needed to as I don’t often leave the country. The strap is nice, shiny and feels comfortable but unfortunately for me I’m a little in-between sizes so it does tend to work it’s way down my wrist and start hammering my hand while I’m out riding my e-bike. Normal wear is perfectly fine, not a single issue there as it sits down at the bottom of your wrist painlessly unless you’re being shaken about with bumpy rides. I wouldn’t think this is suitable for running though, it definitely would be out of its comfort zone and may leave a mark/sore area around your hand/wrist joint, especially if worn on the left wrist. The dials are easy to read even in low light despite not having a light. There are apparently 22 jewels in this watch according the the rear, I haven’t verified that yet but the ones I have seen look rather nice. They are blue and red/purple colour in the case of the ones I have seen. The moon/sun phase indicator works well so far but I’m guessing this is something that would be overlooked frequently as it’s very slow moving. For my first big chunky automatic watch I’m absolutely impressed a great deal with this. I took it off earlier to take a photo of the back mechanism and the text that’s back there. I’ve also uploaded a video which can help people see the watch mechanism in action. It does have some wow factor too and I’ve had several customers and colleagues compliment me on how nice the watch looks. I would definitely recommend something like this as a first time automatic mechanical watch. Worth every penny and more.

Lovely looking watch, and easy to adjust
I've been very, very impressed with the skeleton watch which looks superb when worn and is very easy to adjust with a simple pull out pin. In terms of design the skeleton design means the face and the back has exposed elements allowing you to see the movement of the watch. the clean, crips use of silver looks for the parts as well as the arms gives the watch a classy, timeless look that will compliment a range of shirts / suits. The watchface has a black trim with the hour points and mins labeled in a clear white that makes it easy to see the time. The main face is supplimented by 4 smaller sections - one the logo, another a gold "balance rod" (?) a, secondary clock (handy for keeping international time!) and a day / night dial which changes from sun to crescent moon as the hours progress. It sounds busy, but really it all holds togther very well and adds a great deal of charm and functionality to the watch. If I was being critical, I would have like to have seen a date dial below / instead of the logo circle at 3 O'Clock, but this is a minor quibble overall. Quite a few people both in work and socially have already commented on the watch and how nice it looks when worn which I feel shows just how nice it is in terms of its design and how eye catching it is. The watch is very easy to set and adjust due to the single pin function meaning the main clock can be set by turning the dial forwards, while the secondary clock can be set by turning the dial backwards. The watch is also automatic, meaning it requires no batteries, nor does it need winding as its powered through the movement of the wrist. So far, I have had no issues with this method of power and the watch remains fucntional and on time after a solid week's worth of use. When used, the watch does create a low ticking noise which may put some people off, but which I personally like as it adds to the somewhat "classic" / retro design of the watch. The stainless steel wristband is also very easy to use and adjust and the pins can be removed with a simple strap adjuster (sold seperatley but universal, not at all expensive) allowing you get get the perfect size with ease. The double clasp is a bit different, but does a very good job of keeping the watch on the wrist when worn. The watch does have a "medium to heavy" weight when worn and is very comfotable to use for extended periods of time. The watch itself comes in a very nice, leatherbound box which looks nice, and has a guarentee which needs activating online. User manuals for the watch are NOT included but can be downloaded from the Ingersoll website with ease; however saying that the watch is very intuitive to set and use. Overall, for the price, this watch provides excellent value for money and it looks and feels far more expensive than its RRP. It looks great, is easy to use and i would 100% recommend it!

More Of A Fashion Timepiece Than Practical
This is really a beautiful watch. The attention to detail and design choices would really appeal to someone who loves to collect these kind of timepieces. Although this is a stunning watch, I wouldn't recommend it for someone who wants a simple to read, easy to use and operate watch. Being able to see through the entire watch face, is certainly fascinating and beautiful, but as the watch hands are the same colour as the gears and much of the face is the same colour overall, it takes a bit of concentration to read what the watch is trying to tell you. The watch doesn't come with instructions. You're required to go online and select the model, which isn't very easy to locate and once found, has very poor instructions. As you only have the single dial to operate, setting both timezones is a bit of a pain. As this is an automatic watch which requires you to keep moving, if you don't wear the watch often, you will have to re-wind the watch and therefore, re-set the time. This is something I have no issue with, as do own several automatic watches that have similar features, but can be cumbersome with this watch. The metal link strap is very well made. The watch comes with a size checker; however, doesn't come with an easy/diy solution to remove the links to size to your wrist. You will need to take this to a professional, so they may remove the extra links and fit for you. Considering the history of Ingersoll, this will certainly last a life-time and more. Mechanically, it's very well made and would be perfect for anyone who collects mid-range watches. Can recommend, but make sure you know what you're looking for.

Mesmerising Skeleton Dial Moonphase watch!
This is one of the nicer watches that I own. I don't always wear a traditional watch on my wrist these days as it's been replaced in the past decade by a fitness watch. Now it's special occasions and/or business that I tend to change to something with a lot more style and elegance and this watch does deliver here. It comes nicely packaged which can be ideal for a gift. The leather box is beautiful and inside the watch is sat wrapped in plastic on a plush cushion but this also comes inside a cardboard box inside another cardboard box that is maybe one step too far. Inside the cardboard box is also a wrist tape measure so you can identify the size you will need to get the links removed and a card with a QR code which will take you to the web page to register and locate the instructions. To do this go to the bottom of the page and click the link and search I07707 which is the model number. The card also acts as a card of Authenticity. The Watch Is a thing of beauty! mesmerising the stare out but a little difficult to read at a quick glance but this is only because of the skeleton design as you can see inner workings which just adds to its look. If I have one negative it would be having the branding where it is but this is only a minor personal issue. It's pretty heavy mostly aided by the strap and comes in at 174 grams which is double the weight of my Garmin Fenix 7x which is much bigger. It does take a bit of wearing to get used to. Watch has a lifetime Warranty provided by the manufacturer, has a case diameter of 42mm that is made of Stainless Steel. Case is also 15.3mm thick and a band width of 20mm. The blue adds to its look however, should if you are not fussed with the blue you can also get the silver I07703 for £232 (at the time of review) whereas the Blue alone will set you back £310 (at the time of review). Whichever watch you pick you are sure of a high quality timeless piece.
