The Best Available, I have tried 8 makers
I am sure with different body shapes adult incontinence products vary with how they work. I must say that ABENA Pants, level 3 are by far the best made and work the very best. the waist is exceptionally generous so you can pull them over an undershirt, helping them stay in place. they have excellent absorbency and the cost is reasonable. I use an extra pad ( with a plastic back-made by LivDry for long trips and used with Abena they are excellent for a 6 hour drive easily. Perhaps another brand other than Abena will work better for you but I have tested these products on myself for several years and Abena is the most quality and best performing product of this type. I use Abena Pants XL3.

Great product—- poor packaging
Great product! However, the top of the box was completely open! The black Amazon tape was not attached to the box at all.

Works great
Have been purchasing these for my father who has Alzheimer’s and unable to use the bathroom as needed. Have tried other brands and nothing compares to these. Only brand that offers the protection he needs. Very absorbing without the bulkiness

These are the best available.
I have tried EVERYTHING available for complete incontinence over all the years and these are the most absorbent. They don't leak unless you keep the same one on for umpteen hours, but even then you could likely be okay. The level 3 absorbency holds a RIDICULOUS amount of fluid; I mean a ridiculous amount. I was floored the first time I bought these. I once bought Level 1 absorbency accidentally, and they were actually pretty good. The pants style are fine for those who are ambulatory or sit upright in a wheelchair. However, for those bedridden, the ones that fasten like a diaper are better. I also like the fact that there is a piece of tape on the back so that it can be rolled up neatly and taped closed. No touching wet areas, much less odor. These are expensive, but you use fewer than other brands. (Second best is the slightly less expensive Tranquility; a little bulkier, though, and not as absorbent. ) If you're not completely incontinent, you may find less expensive ones work for you. But you won't get the level of security and confidence these provide. And worrying about an accident is NOT something anybody needs!

Best I have found for my situation
Complications with prostate cancer left me with a supra pubic catheter and completely incontinent. But I'm 12 years cancer free YAY! I use the XL3 along with a TENA Incontinence Guard for Men, Super Absorbency (orange package). The XL3 is the best fit I have found for me and my body shape. I keep one of the Tena pads in my back pocket and extra in my desk and change them out as needed. I fold the backing down on each end of the pad about an inch to hold it in the diaper securely. I remove the pad carefully to keep from tearing the lining of the diaper. I am nearly 70 and still active and working. I climb ladders, push mow the yard, paint the house and etc. Since I have a urine drain bag attached to the calf of my leg, I can often get by with just one or two pads and one diaper over the course of the day. I find the leg bag drains better when I am sitting. I have been using this combination for about 4 years after trying every brand that I can have shipped to me. I usually don't have any leakage problems. Nonetheless, I do sleep on washable pads. Who wants to wake up to find the sheets need to be washed. Unfortunately, it seems since Abena changed their packaging, I have not received my Subscribe and Save order for 4 months even though Amazon clearly says they are still available for S&S. I live in a remote rural area and there are no suppliers anywhere near me. Glad I keep several cases of 96 ahead. I can only order them from Amazon so I hope it gets sorted. Date of review: 07.22.2024. That's my story and my journey. Good luck with yours.

Do not hold much it comes through the material
My father in law used it at night time but didn’t hold much , it likes from the sides . I had to changed it 3 times at night and I add the longer pads and a regular side pads and still had to clean sheets. Sorry but not good for the pm Hrs

Absorption could be better
Less moisture retention than past design. Took off another point because seller should cease sending me item without secure packaging. There was a puncture in the exposed plastic. No boxed/bagged packaging is unsanitary for medical supplies!

Abena is the best incontinence brand we've tried
Abena fits well, is secure, and holds much more body elimination than other brands. Very good overnight. Highly recommend Abena products.

At last, incontinence knickers which actually fit brilliantly and are so comfortable I forget I'm wearing them even when I've added a heavy duty pad into the mix for night time or for going out. They're not infallible: even with the pad added I've had to change because the edges of the pants are soaked but I've yet to experience that soul-destroying feeling of pee trickling down my legs that I'd been increasingly suffering with my usual brand. Although these Abena ones are way more expensive per pad than my previous band, I'll have to be on my uppers before I'll change back : the combination of extra comfort and extra confidence is worth the extra charge, in my opinion.
