Unbelievable result
I have three similar traps, that never worked for one reason or another, trapping feral cats. I gave up thinking that I would find one that would. Someone sent me a link to this trap and I decided one more time I would try a different trap. This trap is big enough for a raccoon so I'm not saying it works only for small feral cats, but at least it has such a sensitive mechanism the small cats triggers it, and they were locked inside. In 3 days I captured three cats and took them to the vet to be neutered and spaded. I call that success. A comical part of this is that the cats were so curious I never even had a chance to bait the Trap. I've been so thrilled with the results I decided buy an additional one. There is a large colony of cats here and I'm working with a local vet to have them neutered and spading and I can't catch them fast enough so I therefore I needed two traps. Let me add one other advantage.. I am a women who weighs not much over 100lbs, I found the other traps would have been too heavy to carry to my SUV & then into the vets office had I ever trapped a cat. Plus simple to activate. I live in a rural area of Florida and we have no one to call to help us with a very large colony of feral cats. I've been years trying to find a solution to this problem. I'm giving this long review because I don't doubt there isn't someone out there with my same dilemmas.

Does NOT work as is
This product should not be sold and marketed as a cat trap. It does not work. First, as many point out, the instructions are for a product that is different from what they send. Ironically, they acknowledge this yet do not include instructions for the actual product. Well, ok, I was able to figure it out and got it to work with some practice. However, my bigger concern is that it is NOT sturdy enough for a cat. The trap worked as expected, but the cat got out! This is a 6-7 lb small cat. She shook the trapper so hard the cage came undone and she ran out. I believe it would work if you shore it up with zip ties or rope, but for the price, you shouldn’t have to! I’ll never know because the cat I was trying to TNR is too afraid to go near it now. Totally ridiculous that you can market and sell a product on here and then 1) send something different that 2) is not sturdy enough to fulfill the task it’s advertised for.

Works
The trigger pad is a little flimsy but works after lubing the trigger.

WORKS GREAT...ONCE I FIGURED OUT TRIP PLATE
At first I was unable to figure out the trip plate, but once I figured it out, it works great. (It was different than shown in instructions.) Plenty of room for feral kitties. Seems sturdy enough to last a while. Was a safe way to catch and release.

Finally working cat trap
I've purchased two different cat traps for a feral cat causing havoc around our house and none worked except for this one. Once the trap was triggered the cat was unable to push out through the door, the cage was safe to handle the cat, the top protective handle let us carry without issues and was able to relocate the cat safely. Very pleased with this.

Works with some altering
The plate trigger bar was not the same as in the directions and video. With a few zip ties I was able to make it work. It took me longer to get it to work than it did for it to trap my cat.Otherwise it's sturdy, folds for easy storage, and has a good amount of space. Big enough for a house cat or raccoon.

the trap is still not right.
It was very hard to assemble. The pictures in the instructions weren’t accurate for the product we got delivered to us.

Works great
Works great, it’s caught everything except the trash pandas we’re trying to relocate. Over all great price, durable as it’s held up to several hefty angry cats
