Q: Would this be a good line to use freediving from your buoy while you pull your self down to the bottom with. Only answer if your a freediver.....?

I`m a freediver and I have no idea what you're talking about. This is a float line used for attaching a pole spear or speargun to a buoy so you can drop the spear if necessary. If you are trying to use it as part of a variable weight system, i.e. a line to attach a buoy to a weight that would pull you down so you can drop the weight and head back to the surface with less effort, then yes this line would be appropriate so long as the weight doesn't exceed the test limit.

Q: I dive from a kayak or paddle board. Would this be a good line to attaché the kayak to my waist so it doesn’t float away?

You can certainly use this line for that, but it's not as durable as vinyl coated lines. Be very careful if you attach the line in any way to your body. I recommend attaching it to the speargun or other droppable object in case they line gets snarled up in anything.

I gets tangled less than the 1/4” line, I tried both, but honestly, save yourself the money and don’t buy either of these lines. I speak from experience. I’ve nearly drowned because of both of these lines, they get snagged on rocks, kelp, anything really. The only useful thing I’ve found for these lines is for anchor lines.
