I love this pull-up bar. It was super easy to setup using the included instruction. Will fit multiple sized doorframes. Put it into my door frame with the included rubber pads. Doesn’t scratch the door dram at all. Super sturdy. I don’t feel like it’s going to fall or break. The foam grips make it super comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Years ago, I purchased a pull-up bar that was designed in this style, and although it worked really well for what I needed, there was definitely damage left both above the door frame, as well as the door frame itself because of the metal bar with the soft Styrofoam “protection“ that covered the bar from damaging anything.I purchased this bar to install at my office so I needed to make sure it definitely did not damage anything. It seems that they kept the previous design in mind because the places that used to have cheap foam protection have now been replaced by silicone bumpers. They also include a silicone pad with adhesion tape for each side of the door frame as well.Although I don’t have a ton of time using this yet, it seems that the build quality and the protection is going to keep everything from being damaged. It also seems that they have designed it in such a way that even though it is an extendable bar for wider door frames, it does not feel flimsy and it feels very secure and stable. It was very easy to put together and only took a few minutes using the instructions.Pull-ups feel solid once you have it in place and they also have the bonus of a secure bracket that installs behind the top of the door frame to make sure for any reason if it gets bumped that it’s not going to fall off the frame and hit you in the head.I would highly recommend this pull-up bar based on my experience with it so far, it was a great buy!

The product itself as a pull up bar is perfect, it has enough slots to change to probably any type of doorway, the instructions point you in the right direction but they lack detail. It comes with this part that's supposed to further support the bar but the only way for the part to work would be to dig into your doorway and damage it, although the bar works perfectly fine without it, I don't get why they would add such a part. Regardless, if you're looking for a pullup bar, this one should be perfectly fine at the price point that it's at.

Setup the pull-up bar as instructed. Manual was easy to follow. Assembling the pieces together was simple. Once the setup completed, I used it on the door and it was so easy put up and remove. No extra screws needed. It was sturdy and built quality is great too. I weigh around 70 kgs (154 lbs) and found it perfect for my weight. I used it mainly for pull-ups.

I used an Iron Gym pull-up bar for many years, but when we moved to a new house where all the doorways were 36 inches wide, the old bar was too narrow to span the width. After some research, I purchased this Ally Peaks Pull Up Bar bar. It's a little less sturdy-feeling than the old Iron Gym bar, but unlike the old one, this one works with my doorways, and that's what matters. It should work well for doorways with widths up to 42 inches. I'm perfectly happy with it and recommend it for anyone with wider doorways. Warning: make sure you use the little metal clip above the doorway to keep the bar secure! Originally, I decided to eschew it (never used it with the Iron Gym on the narrower doorways), but the whole thing came tumbling down in mid-pullup, which left me banged up pretty good. Now I use the clip, and now further falls.
