I bought this for my golf loving 32 year old son's birthday. He and his wife have had a blast playing it! Their Frenchie has also enjoyed retrieving missed balls, lol. I purchased the additional carrying case, also. He made a point to tell me that he was impressed with how sturdy it was and really happy that I got the carrying case so they could take it to other friends houses with them. Great gift for a golf lover!!!

Great game, definitely a lot of fun, but definitely takes some practice to get used to. I will say that as a ~+10 golfer it is actually pretty difficult to get the ball in the hole. If you play "cornhole scoring" with people who are not "golfers" the games can certainly take a long time to finish, but everyone seems to have fun. It was a big hit at our family beach trip. We did end up moving the boards back another 5 feet though; when the boards are 15 feet apart that puts the chipping surface about 13.5 feet away from the board you're trying to hit, and with a 60 degree wedge I felt like I was using little more than a putting stroke. I'd definitely recommend using a 56 degree wedge at most. PROS: - It's golf! - The boards seem to be decent quality, but we'll see how they hold up (more in CONS) - The balls (almostgolf) are great - The carrying case (purchased separately) is thick and made well CONS: - Overpriced for what you get - Carrying case, although very good, is definitely overpriced, but worth buying (I found a 20% off coupon) - The boards (for the price they charge) could certainly be better. I was scared to leave them exposed in the hot sun on the beach because the plastic is so thin, and who knows what kind of adhesive was used for the turf and nets. In addition, the boards sag right out of the box because of the materials used. Likely doesn't affect game play, but for almost $200 these things should feel and look rock solid. I will likely reinforce them with some wood or metal on the underside. - Should include at least three more balls for the price (you can buy extras, but you have to buy 12 - why would I need 12 EXTRA balls?). This just seems like a money grab In summary, they should either reduce the price a bit (I think $150 would be a fair price for what you get) OR beef up the boards and throw in a few extra balls. For the price I paid, the boards and the bag had better last a long time. If they don't I'll certainly be updating this review. With that being said, it looked like a good time and there is nothing else on the market like it, so I bit the bullet and paid the premium price to have it, and I'd probably buy it again.

I thought my husband was crazy for spending this amount on a yard game, but now that we have had it for a while it really is super fun. We have brought this to the beach, family picnics and play constantly in the backyard. Ladies, if you are looking to attract men just get this out in a public place. I swear we get swarmed by guys begging to play every time this is brought out. I would also recommend the case which is also overpriced lol. That being said I certainly would not know how to make one and it really does make transportation easier. Overall, very glad he bought this and would recommend.

Very sturdy and is a ton of fun to play. Great gift for any golfer.

Our grandson loves golf after I gave him my clubs. He can play this game indoors at his apartment at Ohio University.

I bought CHIPPO for my golf-enthused son, fully expecting he would love the novelty and challenge of this game! Not only does he love it but my husband and daughter do as well! I am somewhat challenged in the area of backyard games, but I am getting the "swing" of this myself and thoroughly enjoy it! What a great idea! Thank you!
