Brilliant. It grates garlic, ginger, etc with ease. It has a bit that you press down on which saves you from grating your knuckles. The blades are incredibly sharp. so it comes with a plastic shield so you don't scrape your fingers when removing it from the drawer. This cover isn't easy to take off and put on again if you have arthritic fingers. I just pull it back a bit, without removing it and there's plenty of the grater exposed for use.

Great graters

Always select the right grade of grater for each task. This grater is so easy to use with a solid grip handle and shaped grating plane. It is well constructed and like my other Microplane will last for years and stay sharp. Seemingly expensive, when one realises that properly used this will give great service as the years pass so it actually pays for itself over and over. I own 5 micro planes with differing grades of grater. My first purchase was 30+ years ago. So easy to clean under the tap, always remember to wash with the cutters facing away from you! I thoroughly recommend this brand and product.

I've always thought a grater is a grater but this grater is greater than all other grater's Very sharp and make greting cheese a breeze.

The best micro plane by far

It couldn’t be any sharper! Easy to hold over a plate or a saucepan, made some banging chicken broccoli and cheddar orzo pasta the other day.

Diese Reibe ist Perfekt! Ich reibe mit dieser Reibe alles zwischen Jungen Gauder bis Parmesan. Sie ist leicht zu reinigen. Einziges Manko ist man merkt nicht wenn man anfängt Haut zu reiben, also aufpassen! Definitiv nix für Kinder zum reiben.

Har använt Microplanes rivjärn under många år, det gamla var med plast runtom, detta med stål och dessutom en anti glid gummibeläggning längst ned. Fungerar felfritt.

Die Reibe ist bei uns seit ca. 1,5 Jahren in Benutzung. Sie ist immer noch super scharf und macht genau das was sie soll. Zahlreiche Geschirrspülerreinigungen hat sie ohne Blessuren überstanden und ist bis heute ein treuer Begleiter in der Küche.
