Exterior Door Handle Front Left Driver Side for 1996-2009 Chevy Express, GMC Savana 1500 2500 3500 4500 Van, Replaces 79320,w/Key Hole,Textured Black

This is a perfect replacement door handle for my GMC Savana. Good value. The color and texture was perfect. The quality for now looks great. The installation is a little bit tricky for the newbie but it is doable, just a 10mm socket, extension and ratchet and a Phillips screwdriver. I will need to wait a couple of years to talk about durability . For now , it is recommended. Note: make sure to use your VIN# for exact fitting, there are two different models and they are not compatible.

Installed this after the original handle broke. Few months later, this handle failed. Bought one that was a little more expensive this time. The only difference was the the more expensive one had a crush solid rivet instead of a screw at the pivot point for the linkage. The screw had tightened itself after not that many cycles and the pivot would get stuck open. TLDR it's too cheap, dig deep in your wallet and get the $20 one.

I'm disappointed! I bought this in Aug 2024 in December 2025. The post holding the screw and a small bracket broke off. It looks like it might have been cracked at the factory because 1/2 of the post showed stress (turned white and the other half looked normal. I suspect all of the Amazon sellers get their door handles from the some company, so I don't expect any difference if I order from another seller, but I'll look. See picture.
