I purchased the Fat Ivan in April but because its so hot in FL in summer didn't try it until now. I don't know what happened but somehow it broke. I contacted Nick and he gladly replaced it. The item is high quality, and the customer service great. It works great and I can recommend enthusiastically.

I I work a job that requires me to work on doors and this tool is one of the best items I have ever bought. It's easy to put into the hinge of the doors it holds the door open it small size is perfect to put in your pocket or just put into your tool bag it's definitely worth the money that you pay for it. I have given these as gifts for other people that you know work on doors or just the doors propped open and they just love it cuz it's no more prop and open the doors from the bottom with a piece of wood or the rubber feet if you're really looking for something to hold your door open for whatever reason this is it

Works well on my shed door. Should;ve ordered two. When trying to back out the riding mower the double doors were constantly blowing shut -- am in a windy area. Tried stacking a bag of mulch in front -- pushed over and a hook and bungee cord which the wind ripped right out of the wood it was screwed into. This is a very simple and successful way of keeping the door open and takes no time. For such a simple piece, I'm surprised it is so high.

Expensive but works very well on our heavy garage door, even with thick, self-closing hinges. If used with care, I think it will last for a very long time. The magnets that keep it attached to the door when not in use are an excellent feature, as the wedge is always at arm's reach.

I've only had this doorstop for 24 hours but wish I had had it 4 weeks ago! I just moved into a new house and the garage to kitchen doorway is a 6 inch step up with a door that will not stay open on its own. I started by using a box of cookbooks to hold the door open to unload multiple SUV loads of crap from our former rental to our new house. Lifting the cookbook box back and forth with each trip was annoying and a strain on a body already abused with the exertion of moving so I started using a pancake air compressor with a handle which was a little easier but not great. I finally got fed up with non-doorstop doorstops and decided to buy and actual doorstop. I searched reviews here on Amazon looking for a heavy enough doorstop that was at least 6 inches high and came up with.....not much. Until Ivan. Love this guy! Just clip him over the hinge in the open door and he holds the door open at a nice 90 degree angle. I can now come and go from the garage and not be messing with the door with each trip. There are magnets built into Ivan and, when he's not in use, I just slap him on the side of the washer, right by the door, for next time. So nice!

WORKS GREAT. NO MORE DOORS SLAMMING WITH WINDOWS OPEN. BUT INFORM GUESTS THAT ITS IN USE. MY SISTER-IN-LAW WAS OVER AND TRIED TO SHUT DOOR WITH THE DOOR STOP BEING USED, AND STRIPPED SCREWS RIGHT OUT OF DOOR JAM. LOL!! WE HAD A GOOD LAUGH. SHE HAS A NEW NAME NOW.... HERCULES. LOL

Simple, strong, easy to use and works! This thing is awesome! I’ve have it for about 8 months now and I have used it quite often. It’s made from sturdy plastic and feels solid just holding it. It’s got strong magnets to put on the door when it’s not in use. Comes in a couple of colors but I chose orange as it’s the most eye catching in case someone tries to close the door without knowing it’s there. It’s so easy to use too. Open the door to about 95 degrees and slide it down over the hinge. Thats literally it. And reverse those 2 steps to take it off. I might even get a couple more of these as gifts.
