Very realistic toy that is well made. It is totally worth the money. But it eats up battery very fast and 1 LR44 battery retails at 40 bucks in the neighbourhood shops. You need three for the bug. So order a 10 pack along with the toy from Amazon.

Soo this thing held my 13 yr old nephew's interest for 2.5 minutes before he went back to playing his phone game. Maybe I should have got him another phone game/ accessory. It seemed defective out of the box, but my dad pressed it and the loose contact was fixed. I think my nephew might enjoy hexbug racing if his friends have it too. It's pretty cool, those wiggling legs. I enjoyed watching it right itself after being flipped upside down. For a while it seemed to walk erect on its hind legs :D But I swear the hexbug nanos are way cooler!

My first Hexbug and an absolute hit! I got 3 of these for my son, my nephew and a friend's son and it was the hoghlight of the birthday party with all the kids running behind it!! A definite must-buy for the kids; its a welcome break from all the electronics that surround them these days
