Would this be of any use to make a home made wind generator to charge up a 12v leisure battery ia a controller? (Not an electrician - basic knowledge)

The generator is good but you would have to have a lot of wind to keep the thing producing power. Its a 50/50 thing. I found the generator great for powering things. Admittedly did not charge anything. Hope that helps.
