I recently purchased the TEAMGROUP AX2 512GB 2-Pack to upgrade two older PCs, and I'm quite satisfied with the results. Pros: Easy Installation: The drives were straightforward to install. I had them up and running in about 10 minutes. Amazon Performance Boost: Both PCs now boot up quickly, and applications load faster than before. Amazon Value for Money: For the price, getting two 512GB SSDs is a great deal. Cons: Not the Fastest: While there's a noticeable improvement over HDDs, these aren't the fastest SSDs available. Amazon Long-Term Reliability: I've only been using them for a few weeks, so I can't speak to their longevity yet. Overall, this SSD 2-pack is a solid choice if you're looking to breathe new life into older systems without breaking the bank.

I was very happy to get the bundle of 2 pack of TEAMGROUP AX2 512GB. Like you I thought "good price, good products, 9k reviews, they must be good". Well, they worked fine, with the advertised speeds of an normal SSD ~500Mb Read/Write, nothing else special. They do not come with any software to help you migrate/clone your old hard-drive over new one, but it's fine. I didn't expect it anyways for this price point ~ $64. Purchased them in January 2024, they come with 3 year warranty which is awesome, but so do other more known brands. 5 months later one of them failed, installed in a laptop. Installed Linux patches, rebooted and ... SSD was not recognized. Yes, BIOS would not see it anymore. That laptop was used normally for browsing, YouTube, nothing. special no "intensive" tasks. The SSD just died. All data, gone. Installed it in a different machine, Windows, tried all kinds of tools, nothing - BIOS won't recongnize its a drive attached to the motherboard. Downloaded all kind of tools from TeamGroup support page, none worked. Opened an RMA request, they asked for the SSD back - had to pay for shipping to their California location. On the RMA page, there is even an option on the dropdown menu "can't be recognized". Straight forward process, no complaints there. Couple weeks later, I received a new SSD in mail, installed it in the place of the one that died and I thought that was it. No more issues. Its now September, and it died again. and whats worse the other SSD, installed in a different machine died too. I'm way out of the return window, no money back so my only option is RMA, get a new one every xxx months until the waranty. expires. No? Very dissapointed with these products. Lucky I do backups, on two different places so I don't lose any data. I highly recommend you do the same. Not going to purchase TeamGroup anymore. I have another 1TB SSD, did not install it yet not sure that I will ever will. The amount of time lost - removing died SSD, installing a new one, reinstall OS, recover/restore data its just not worth the price difference between these SSD and the well knows others (WD, Samsung, even Crucial). I have couple Crucial running for the past 6-7 years absolutelly no issues.

I recently installed two 512GB SSDs in my server, and overall, I’m very satisfied with their performance. Installation was a breeze—plugged them in, and they were ready to go with no issues. The setup process was straightforward, making them beginner-friendly even if you're not a tech expert. In terms of performance, these drives aren't the fastest SSDs on the market, but they're reliable and get the job done for my needs. Data transfers are smooth, and I haven’t experienced any lag or stuttering during regular server operations. If you’re running a server or need storage for general use, these are a solid choice.

I bought them to be cheap and to run them in a RAID1. Not much to write home about in terms if performance, but they work well enough for DRAM-less SATA based drives. And, they have SLC caching, which is a bonus.
