So far so good.
I'm always hesitant to buy very low priced parts but this fixed my problem and seems to be working fine. I'll buy another Soo. Just to have as a back up. I live in Florida and it's a necessity to have a portable gen ready to go.

Works perfectly after adjustment.
Perfect fit for Champion 3500 (Honda clone) You really need a multimeter though to complete install. First you need to set the meter to Hz and dial the governor screw on the motor to get to about 60-61.5Hz. Then switch to volts AC on the multimeter and dial the Blue potentiometer clockwise on the AVR (the piece being reviewed ) to move voltage up to 120v. You need a very small screwdriver for the potentiometer

This AVR looked and fit like the original AVR for my Champion 3500/4000 watt generator, model # C46540. Solved the problem of the generator putting out much less voltage than normal. Now, when set to 120 or 240 volts, I get the correct voltage. I had to fine tune the voltage adjusting screw on the back of the AVR to get correct voltage, but very easy to do.

Perfect for my champion generator (3500 watt?)
Plugs in the same as the old one, fits, just have to adjust the screw up like 6 or so turns clockwise. I'll have to turn mine back slightly because its pushing 124volts under load but there is a 20% leeway on voltage for it to run safely.

Saved the generator!!
Our champion 3500 generate wasn’t working, so we check out a few videos on YouTube and they all pointed to the avr part. It wasn’t producing any electricity. Found it on Amazon for a nice price and now the generator runs good again. Saved the generator and saved us $$…. Worth it !!!

Have to order again.
First one I got produce 191 volts. Lasted less then five minutes. Think I might have another problem but the voltage should no t have been that hi I feel either.
