The first table arrived with broken/detached leg. I sent for a replacement, but found something less expensive in the meantime. The replacement arrived intact. Good solid wood, but I returned since I had already found a similar product that was much less expensive. The reason for the rating was because I had to pay to return the product, as I didn't want to drive out of the way to an Amazon drop off. The nearest one was 12 miles away. This should be stated before purchase. The usual return options (Kohl's, Amazon Fresh) was not an option for this return.

High quality, study, well built.

The table was broken. The outside box and inner box was perfectly fine. When I unwrapped the foam the bottom leg was broke.

The meditation altar table was a gift for my wife. It arrived with the box undamaged so I was eager to open it. Unfortunately the way it was assembled and packed caused damage to the wooden support and legs on the main altar shelf. The smaller mini-alter shelf that goes on top was packed in such a way that it could freely slide left and right in the box which must have slammed into the legs knocking them off and bending the nails. The wood "glue" was dried and powdery and was not of good quality. My wife was upset as the gift fell flat. I considered returning it but did not want to let the altar and good intention just end up in a landfill. I decided to realign all the nails and reglue the parts using a good quality wood glue and clamps to hold everything in place. It is now better than new. Vendor was responsive and offered good customer service for remediation of the damage.
