keyboard stand
this table arrived very quickly, it is already assembled so no hastle there. what a good buy, i have the tyros keyboard that had been sitting on an old x type stand. i looked at getting a new stand that allowed me to place the amp bass unit right underneath out of the way of my feet, the only one i could see was the yamaha L 7 model at around £175. even s/h they fetch £100. i saw this stagg mxs and decided to give it a go for the money if it was not good enough i would find a use for it, let me tell you this stagg unit is strong, fully adjustable and an absolute bargain, does not move, is is good to look at and is very sturdy, i am really pleased with it and would recomend buying it.

Good Quality and room for legs
Perfect keyboard stand for home, slides under my desk with my Nord Lead 4 on top. The Nord's rubber feet slot perfectly into the holes you can see. Height and width adjustable. Finally I can sit at my desk with my keyboard pushed under and still have room for my legs. Most desks are too high for a good playing height, this stand acts as a good second desk under your table or workstation, check your measurements first though. Build quality is great, I don't know how anyone can say its bad, unless they have been gigging too much with it and it got damaged. it is solid, my Nord lead does not move an inch, and there is soft foam where the keyboard sits, so no scratches on the bottom, even if your keyboard feet couldn't fit in the slots for any reason.

Compact , sturdy , heighht-adjustable , pre-assembled and better than I expected !
I wanted a single tier stand to use on a few gigs where I am using a full sized weighted action keyboard , and which had a clear space for pedals underneath. (X frames don't give me the room for the volume foot controller to be placed in a comfortable spot). Key considerations alongside price were legroom, sturdiness, height adaptability and portability which is why I went for a table style. I already have a K&M stand similar to this which is stored in Germany for when I do gigs there. I have to say that I am delighted with this stand. Unlike my K&M stand which took quite some assembling , this comes ready to use out of the box. All that was needed is to adjust the height on each leg to your requirement, which is a fairly easy process.. I set mine to 600mm high, which relatively few on the market will go down to, athough it will go a little lower or quite a bit higher. It is width adjustable and easily accomodates a full sized, weighted-action keyboard. It is surprisingly sturdy. I have read comments which mention the placement of the width adjustment thumbscrew which does get in the way of your knees. My solution is to take it off - the thumbscrew on the other side together with the weight of my keyboard are enough to keep it secure , stable and non-moving when playing. My K&M stand cost over twice the price of this stand . OK, the K&M stand is sturdier , bigger and bulkier but this stand does the job adequately in a more compact way .

Fine and strong
easy set-up & adjust. visually barely know its there. far better than 'orrible 'X' frames if used sitting down. only things i have modded are: a little double sided tape on top rails just to grip base of keyboards, and replaced the front rail wingnut with a shortened dome cap screw - so as not to catch knees when sitting close. might buy another for other keyboard. happy.

Excellent Priduct
The organ support is stable, well made and looks the part. The leg spacing and rake allows ample space for legs and seating.

100% for PSR 8000
purchased this for my PSR 8000 which is a large and heavy keyboard. Fits the keyboard spot on with the easy resize telescopic frame. Keyboard is like being on a solid work top NO rocking or movement whilst playing one bit. I have this on a thick carpet too and still sits there solid. Anyone wishing to keep their costly keyboard safe, I recomend this stand. There is a minimum size of keyboard that will fit so measure before ordering to avoid disappointment. I give this 100% for the PSR 8000 and a lot cheaper than the OEM version of stand. With telescopic legs this will also be easy to suit the height of your seat. takes 30 seconds to set up as ready to go out the box. Easier than a deck chair. Nice one Stagg for the sturdy design.

A good stand for a keyboard
I bought the stand for a new 88 key Roland keyboard so I can learn to play. The stand is easy to adjust to the desired height and is nice and sturdy, supporting the 13kg weight well. Only downside was that two of the plastic butterfly screws used to adjust the width and height were broken, possibly in transit. I can still tighten them up sufficiently so not a huge problem but still a nuisance on a new item.

Concerned about load capacity
Update - when I first reviewed this item (below), I gave it five stars, untested, because it fit the bill perfectly, including the 50kg carrying capacity. But I am questioning that claim. I have one of these for a Roland DS88, and it’s fine, so I bought a second one for a Roland RD2000. That’s a much heavier keyboard, but even at 20kg, the stand should be able to manage it, especially if it’s supposed to handle 50kg. I think it’s a design problem, but could be wrong. The legs adjust by sliding one metal tube inside another, and tightening with a screw that hold the two in place by friction - not going into preset holes as you would expect. Sure enough, from time to time one of the legs loses its grip, so one end of the keyboard heads towards the floor! Very unnerving, believe me. So I’m looking for a replacement which will definitely do the job by design, rather that faith in the power of friction. I can’t afford to trust it. =============== If you’re going to put a £1,500 digital piano on a stand, you need to be able to trust that the stand will do it’s job. The Stagg MXS A-1 does just that. I haven’t tested it, but the specs say it can take 50kg. Plenty for me. In addition to being stable and adjustable (length and height), it doesn’t get in the way. Meaning there are no bars sticking out front and/or back, and nothing under the keyboard itself, like X beams. So when I bought this for my second keyboard, I realised just how obstructive the stand on my first one was. So I ditched it for another Stagg. Should have done that in the first place.

This stand is a good value and seems to be sturdy enough for a Casio Privia PX150 88 key keyboard. It is not rock solid, but good enough. Stand folds up well for storage and transport. Adjustment and keyboard placement takes two people to be safe. This stand works perfectly for a dorm room where stand/keyboard can slide under the elevated dorm bed when not in use, with enough room between the legs to place it over a mini fridge or clothes boxes, etc. We attached stick-on carpet sliders to the feet so it slides easier: Waxman 4602295N 1-1/8-Inch Self-Stick Round Super Sliders, Beige
