Arrived early, great condition
Arrived early the box was in perfect condition which is great as I'm an "in box" collector

stunningly beautiful 2011 Christmas special
This is another in the Christmas special range. Every year at "winterfest" in the USA (according to many of my American friends and colleagues they can't call it Christmas anymore) Mattel produce a special Barbie; and they tend to be especially stunning - this one is no exception. "Irish", as she has become known in our house, is wearing an emerald green and lame gold ball gown with machine embroidered detailing and added gemstones. The gown has been designed by Robert Best and is accessorised with large gold coloured chandelier ear rings. She has the most stunning pale fawn coloured eyes. The long white blonde hair, long dark eye lashes and ruby red lips all add to her beauty. As a collector I won't ever remove her from her box, that way she will always keep that perfect sheen and stunning look, but any little girl would be ecstatic to receive this gorgeous lady. The box forms a picture-frame/doorway look around the doll, and the scene behind her is reminiscent of a stately home or Buckingham Palace gallery corridor. From my point of view as a collector "Irish" is one of the best looking Christmas Barbie's that Mattel have produced.

This is a stunning doll, with very high quality clothing. The dress is glued on to the doll at the shoulder, by the way.
