Very useful little shower seat.
This useful light little shower seat works very well. Quite easy to assemble , IF you are quite good at this type of self assembly task, which fortunately I am. Construction is actually very clever, if a little awkward, with only a limited number of large special winged bolts holding everything together. This actually enables some flexibility in construction. I decided that I preferred to do without the plastic back section as I found it got in the way in the shower. The entire back section can be removed from the stool, by undoing the four , longer, winged bolts that hold the back supports (and the leg pieces)onto the seat , and substituting the four , shorter winged bolts from the back itself , to continue to attach the leg pieces to the seat . Of course I could have bought a backless stool in the first place if I'd known !

A Little Awkward To Assemble.
As someone with a serious spinal problem and associated issues I have bought this to use in my shower. It is very sturdy considering the lightweight components and it is fairly comfortable. For someone without mobility issues this would be easy to put together but I live alone and found it a little awkward plus one of the screws cross threaded slightly but on the backrest it doesn't cause an issue. It does not slip at all on my shower base. All in all it is a good product for the price and makes showering more comfortable for me.

Width of base?
The item itself seems fine. Sturdy and easy to put together.... HOWEVER.... the width of the base footprint is far greater then the 43cm quoted in the listing on Amazon. Including the rubber feet it only just fits my mom's shower cubicle which is 48cm wide.
