A very good buy!
This is a very good quality unit. Easy to use and plenty of pressure available. Not noisy, just a hum as the air is charging. No sound at all when the brush is not in use.

Worth the purchase price
I have tried the air brush kit,and it works perfectly, easy to set up and to clean after each colour of paint used, following the cleaning instructions in the manual.all in all its a really good beginner air brush kit for a reasonable cost.

Performs great, a real nice kit.
Been using this for a few weeks and haven't had any major issues with it while priming my minis. It paints pretty nicely once it's going but can take a few seconds for the paint to properly flow into it so maybe point it at some cardboard until you get the flow you're after. It also cleans really well which is what you want for an airbrush, and also the air compressor isn't too noisy while providing enough pressure to get the job done. Be careful when handling the needle also, it looks fragile but it's also very sharp.

Works well once you understand paint thinning
I bought this kit mostly for priming models. Initially I had a lot of issues with clogging. On investigation I discovered that thinning my primer was the cause as the thinner evaporates quickly leaving a crusty residue - I changed from using thinner to using just water with a small amount of washing up liquid to thin my paint (one drop in 100ml of water and shake)The difference is astounding - no more clogging and paint flows well covering models quickly with 0.5mm nozzle fitted - having reduce surface tension due to the detergent in the water makes the paint cover evenly. In the pic shown, the base has had 2 coats and the dragon has had one coat - looking good. The pump seems good and I have had no problems with it.

Airbrush Magic Right Out of the Box!
This Timbertech Airbrush Kit with Compressor is perfect for both beginners and hobbyists who want to dive straight into the world of airbrushing. When I say it comes with everything you need, I mean it. Right out of the box, you're ready to create some pretty incredible effects, whether you’re working on paper, models, or even trying your hand at some fingernail art (yes, I tried it, and no, I didn't do a terrible job!).The airbrush gun is surprisingly easy to use. Thanks to the double-action feature, you can control both the airflow and the paint with just one finger, making it possible to achieve those soft gradients and precise details that take your work to the next level. The compressor, meanwhile, is compact, light, and oil-free, which means minimal maintenance and maximum portability. It’s also quiet, like, surprisingly quiet for something that shoots air with power.I love that the kit includes multiple nozzle sizes (0.2mm, 0.3mm, 0.5mm), which gives you a lot of versatility in your projects. Whether you’re spraying a fine line for model details or covering a larger area, you’ve got the right tool for the job. The adjustable air outlet means you can fine-tune the pressure to suit whatever you're working on, which is a fantastic feature for getting just the right effect. One word of advice, when they say 'automatic switch on-off,' they mean it. I had it auto-start on me once when I was reaching for something, and let's just say it gave me a good laugh (and maybe a slight jump). But once you get used to it, that feature really does make things easy.Overall, this airbrush kit is incredibly well put together. It's versatile, easy to use, and has pretty much everything you need to get started without any extra fuss. Whether you’re new to airbrushing or a seasoned pro, this kit makes it easy to create magic.

Great value kit
I bought this and a 1/48 jet model for my nephew 2 Christmases ago and it's been unopened since so I thought I'd learn first and pass the knowledge onto my nephew for his model. It's been a great tool for a novice who's been researching all the ins and outs of airbrushing and modelling.I've been learning a lot and have since made a spitfire, little army jeep and working on a tamiya ducati at the moment. The compressor is a lot quiter than I imagined, the actual brush area is easy enough to clean and maintain. I broke off the tiny nozzle piece the other day but there are spares in the box. There's a lot of trial and error with paints and thickness but you learn as you go.As far as price and quality, I'd highly recommend one for the modeller who wants to step up their paint and gloss game with a good value kit.
