Good Item good price!
AMAZING PIECE OF KIT, if you can get past the Einstein instruction manual !!! Very powerful, I found it quite bulky and heavy to use but then I am a 5ft2inch female weighing 8 stone!!! I’m sure an adult sized male would have no issues! Totally recommend

I bought Flymo PowerVac 3000 as to replace my faulty Flymo GardenVac 2700W, which is no longer available on the marketplace. The new one is a powerful blower that blows aways leaves easily, the vac function also works as expected though the description of this model did not tell clearly the impeller are not metal but hard platics. The cordless EasiBlowVac does have a metal impeller which I missed this feature when I read that for the PowerVac 3000. You need to change parts when you switch from blower to vac, which is the down side of this model but when compare the other brands (e.g. Bosch), they are the same. This model does not have a variable blower speed function, which you may need to consider as the blower is so good that blows the leaves everywhere, if you have a small garden, the variable speed one might fit better. To compare, I think the Flymo GardenVac 2700W is better than Flymo PowerVac 3000 1. mode switching from blower to vac (the 2700W with quick change lever) 2. cable cord is shorter that you need an extension lead (the 2700W cable cord is longer) 3. leaf mulcher feature requires stronger impeller (the 2700W does not have mulcher function)

Very pleased.
So far so good. Have not tried it to vacuum up leaves as yet. We have so many leaves from so many trees that I would have to be emptying the bag constantly. Blowing the leaves into neat piles for collection in a wheelbarrow was easy. Perfectly powerful enough for our needs and will even shift wet leaves. A result as fallen leaves seem to be coated with strong glue given the difficulty in shifting them from the soles of shoes. Scrub them on a doormat for ten minutes and you still find that you have leaves clinging on for grim death until you walk on your carpets and then they decide it is time to drop off incurring wrath from your partner.

Reliable brand name confirmed in its reliable product range
Flymo is a brand name for me, which I can trust, for well-made products that do the job

Works great but I wish it came with an Ox to pull it
I got this to pick up leaf debris from my artificial grass. It is extremely easy to assemble and get it working. A few clicks here and there and everything is in place. The instruction manual is clear and simple, and there really isn’t much to figure out. I had it out of the box and turned on in around 5 minutes. The cable is far longer than most people could need. The suction is great, it picks up everything from leaves to small twigs, but doesn’t try to suck up the artificial grass. Its great that it shreds everything that it sucks up, turning all debris in to confetti pieces. This makes it really easy to empty in to the garden waste bin. I have only two gripes. Firstly, a minor concern with the quality of the bag that everything is collected in to. It seemed to be poorly stitched together, with large amount of fraying around the edges. But nothing is ripped or coming undone, so for now it just seems like a cosmetic issue. The larger issue is with the weight. Why does this not come with wheels? I know you can buy separately, but I can’t imagine anyone not needing them included from the start. I only have a tiny 25 square metre lawn, and I am a well built young guy, but after one session with this I felt like I had done a full workout. Definitely not suitable without wheels for most people.

Avoid unless all the leaves are dry.
Ok in the dry, if the leaves are damp it's worthless. Turns out it's oft wet in the autumn, who knew! 2 mins leaf collection for 10 minutes unblocking, which has been made as difficult as possible. Ergonomics handling the vac are a joke. Purchased for leaf shredding capability so leaves would mulch faster. Total waste of time. Works ok as a leaf blower, but single function ones which are more comfortable to handle exist, so no reason to purchase this.

Works well but check the model version and protect your gold plated collection bag
It's okay. If you can get it a good price then worthwhile. I bought one last year for £38 and then this one now for £55 (read on for the reason why) Good points - mulches really well and quite effective as a leaf blower and sucker. Like any of these devices if you use them when it is a bit wet, they can get clogged up with mud so expect to do a bit of cleaning from time to time. This leads on to the negatives... Bad points - The model you get is not the model that is shown in the photo (I have attached to this review) and currently on Amazon's listing (Nov 2017) and (bizarrely) Flymo's website too. It DOES NOT have the quick change facility where you can swap easily from the vacuum to blower. It does have what they call a 'toolless' change but it does require undoing a screw (albeit with a thumbturn) and trying to locate the accessory (suction pipe or blower grill) on to a threaded connection. This is not difficult but it is a faff as you have to twist a giant tube holding the heavy body still. On the model I bought last year which looks like the picture attached, you released one by just unclipping it and then pulled down the blower grill (which you can see doubles up as the handle). As the blower grill is permanently attached you cannot lose it. On the new model it is a separate item. I will probably put it 'safe' in my shed somewhere and then spend half an hour looking for it next time I need it. A backwards step in design and naughty to show the old model on their current adverts. Note, the other photos DO represent the correct model. Hopefully by the time you read this, Amazon will have deleted the incorrect image (I writing to them next). Second negative, my collection bag was eaten by some mice in my shed (anecdotally this seems quite common). I thought 'annoying' but fine, I'll buy a new one. Quick check on Amazon, Ebay, other sites and Flymo's official spares show and a replacement one costs between £55 and £67. So yes, you guessed it, I ended up buying a new PowerVac instead. I now have one for blowing leaves and one for suction so the change issue is not such a problem. However, it is a disgraceful rip off for Flymo to charge anything near that price for the bag and so wasteful that you cannot economically repair something so simple. If Amazon sell the whole thing for £50 or so, Flymo must make them for at least half that cost so what is the real price of the bag - £2-£3 (or maybe it is gold plated on the lining?). Sell it for a £10 and people will buy spares! I would. So protect your bag!!!!
