Perfect Compact Microwave — Great for Snacks & Popcorn 🍿
This Emerson retro compact microwave is the perfect size for my needs! It doesn’t take up too much counter space, which is great for a smaller kitchen, yet it still has enough power for everyday use. I mainly use it for popcorn and quick snacks, and it works perfectly every time — heats evenly and quickly without burning. The retro design is also a fun touch; it looks stylish instead of bulky, and the controls are simple to use. It’s lightweight enough to move if needed but still feels sturdy and well made. If you’re looking for a microwave that’s compact, reliable, and great for small kitchens, offices, dorm rooms, or just for snacks and popcorn like me, this one is a great choice!

Cute and functional but not great
Cute, works fine, decent value, smol, not a very powerful microwave and i agree with the other reviews that it's LOUD going off, also strange to use the knob to like adjust the time?? It's fine for what it is but idk that I recommend it

Stylish and Functional
This microwave is as beautiful as it is functional! The aesthetic design blends seamlessly into my kitchen, giving it a sleek and modern look. The minimalist buttons and soft curves make it stand out from traditional bulky microwaves. It’s not just about looks, though—the performance is fantastic! It heats evenly, is super easy to use, and the pre-set functions are a lifesaver. I also love the compact size, which fits perfectly on my counter without taking up too much space. If you’re looking for a microwave that combines style and efficiency, this one is a total game-changer. Highly recommend for anyone who values both form and function!

Updated Review - Nope. | Very Modern. I like it, but it does take some patience.
Update on 5/6/25 - Taking away stars... sadly. It never cooks evenly at all. The settings are a pain. Am actually debating on returning it and buying something else. I do love the appearance of this microwave! Modern yet appears "vintage". However, its functions... are quite confusing. Its much smaller than my previous microwave, which took over most of an entire corner in my kitchen. Very bulky. Am very happy for the smaller size. It is also quieter on cook times. Though, the end signal is a bit loud. But, not terribly so. My main concern is that the functions are very confusing at first. And, even still now, I need some practice. The "Start" button is 30 seconds. It will only allow 3x press to make 1m 30s. Then, seemingly won't allow more time than that. I use that most often for now. (A week or so owning it.) The presets built in are very hard to translate, they also do not give what amounts of time each setting is on the instruction manual. A1-A8. Used by turning the dial knob only. The basic cooks like popcorn, reheat, and beverage at the top of that list. I have yet to remember each one as needed, so it's pinned above the microwave. These settings do seem to work decently when you choose the correct one for what you are doing. Defrost button then its D1-D3. However, the "weights" for each level are also confusing. I have had a hard time using this setting at all. I have plans to make a basic Menu above my microwave for my family. They really haven't touched it yet. Its daunting in a way. I believe that may help everyone most after having the same microwave for almost a decade, then turning towards this slightly more complex option. I do like it a lot, but the functionality is top priority when it comes to having a family full of children who need to be able to set it and forget it. Otherwise we will have messes on our hands. Its not a bad buy, just be prepared to have to relearn microwaving if you haven't bought a modern microwave in a while like us.

Perfect!
I love this little microwave. No electronic nonsense and settings to fuss with and it heats food perfectly. One minor complaint, the power setting can only be changed in increments of twenty (20%, 40%, etc), but I just use the 60% setting for things that need to cook at 50% and it’s fine. I still give it five stars for cuteness, functionality and ease of use!

Love it’s cheery white retro look.
After our more expensive Breville died after only 3 1/2 years of careful use, I opted for something with a brighter look and smaller footprint. I sized down from 900 watts (.9 cu ft) to 700 watts (.7 cu ft) with this Emerson Retro white model. So far we love it. Some reviewers complain that they can’t figure out how to use the dial for exact minutes and seconds, instead of the Pre-Set function. Press Power, adjust power down by pressing that button or leave on 100%. Dial in your time and press start. So easy. I prefer dials and handles on microwaves and the chrome buttons are elevated, not a fingerprint- inviting touchpad. I like the reminder beeps if you forget you have something in the microwave, as I sometimes do when reheating coffee or tea. I appreciate the gentle nagging! The door latch is a little tight but we find that with gentle opening and closing, it’s working more smoothly after a couple of days. We needed minor time adjustments for morning oatmeal and fruit but it’s just a small learning curve. We felt that our larger, “dark and brooding” former microwaves were overkill in size and this perky smaller retro is a visual upper. So many reviews start with “I love it’s Look” and I agree. If it lasts as long as our Breville, at 1/3 the price, I’ll be happy. I remembered the Emerson Brand from an Emerson A.M./F.M. Clock Radio my parents bought me to take to college, over 50 years ago. Now I’m “dating” myself. (Don’t care.) ☺️

Perfect compact microwave
Adorable and compact. Exactly the look I was going for in my kitchen. The only downside is that you have to press the pause/cancel button to release the door to open it.

Fonctionne très bien, facile et surtout très belle apparence.

Very adorable, fits my Corelle dinner plates just fine and pops popcorn amazing. I was concerned because the watts are much lower than regular machines but aside from maybe having to add an extra min of cook time here and there I would say don’t hesitate to purchase this!!

Emerson was always good quality but I haven't used Emerson for yrs so I'm hoping they are still living up to their good name

Seriously adorable but small. A dinner plate won’t fit and the controls are tricky, not easy to navigate. Does not do popcorn 🤪 but for small things, it’s ok.
