Clean-Edge Rounding-Over Bit That Delivers Smooth Finish
I used the Freud Quadra-Cut 34-110 rounding-over bit on both maple and plywood and achieved noticeably superior edge quality with minimal tear-out. The four-cutter design produced a clean profile in one pass, and the Perma-Shield coating kept resin build-up to a minimum after several cuts. Setup in my table-mounted router was painless: I locked depth, made test cuts, adjusted feed until the finish looked mirror-smooth, then ran a batch of 20 pieces back-to-back without overheating or chatter. The bit held its sharpness and delivered consistent radius edges across varying thicknesses. If I had one caveat it’s that the ¼-inch shank requires an accurately tightened collet—any slop will degrade performance. Overall this bit upgraded my edge-work in both speed and finish quality.

Very good bit.
Ive owned a lot of router bits. I find this bit with 4 cutters does a great job so far. Cuts smoothly. Even on figured wood, at the right pace it does well. Hope that the Freud quality tradition will translate into a long lasting and durable/reliable experience.

Smooth cutting round over.
Freud makes a good bit, have several and always had good luck with them. Am making a rocking horse for my grand daughter and needed a 3/8" round over bit. The round over was good and smooth on both the cherry and hard maple wood. Also like the quad cut design.

Amazing round over bit
I’ve been using tons of router bits lately . All of the others including RYOBI has chips . This was extremely clean cuts even on white oak !!

Good finish
This did an excellent job of leaving a silky smooth finish behind it. It is worth the price in my opinion. I have a piece made of white oak and walnut, 33 x 22 inches x and y. It cut cleanly with no chipping the entire circumference on it. Very happy with the result. Bosch is always good stuff in my experience (45 yrs of woodworking).

Definitely a high-end bit
It edged through cherry, birch, walnut, and mahogany hardwoods without hesitation. Very happy with its sharpness, smoothness, its fourth blade, and build quality. Pricer than others (just for one bit) but it feels like it’s going to outlast the cheaper ones. My only complaint is it burns/toasts the wood in a few spots. May be user error. I could be moving the router across the edges a little too slowly, however light sanding removes 98% of these burned spots.

Excellent router bit
Freud products are superior across the board, whether their biscuit joiner, saw blades or router bits. The difference with this round over bit that makes it superior to others is that it has four carbide cutters instead of the standard two. This makes for finer cuts and less burn than you tend to get with two-cutter router bits, especially when making aggressive cuts. Naturally, the price for the Freud is significantly higher than two-cutter bits but the cost is worth it when it comes to performance and quality of cuts.

Works great. Sharp blades, no burning on walnut. Used a ridgid handheld router with this 1/4 inch round over bit. It cut through walnut effortlessly without any burning.
