I fractured my arm and the “brace” provided by the ortho’s office was not comfortable (half cast and half ace wrap). This was the only full arm brace I could find that held my forearm and wrist in the proper position. It is much more comfortable for me. It was easier to use because I don’t have to constantly fight with the ace wrap. I have had it for two weeks now and it has held up well. The Velcro is as expected- sticks to everything when not in place but that is the nature of it. When in place on the brace it is fine. It is removable for showering and doing the PT range of motion exercises. It keeps me arm secure other times. The fit works for me. I just used their measurements and ordered the corresponding size. While it is true that it would be nicer to have your fingers stick out a bit more (rather than just the tips), this is not a deal breaker for me. I think it is difficult to make a standard size that fits everyone unless you have it made specifically for you. The only issue I have found is at the front of the elbow the Velcro rubs on my forearm a bit. I fixed this issue by putting a little gauze between the brace/velcro and my arm. Easy. I would buy from them again.

Update: My arm's healed well and it's been 4 weeks since the injury. I no longer wear a splint or a sling, but I do put on this brace when I go to bed, so I don't accidentally re-injure the elbow in my sleep. Works great. Can be washed, which is great. I slipped on a curb and fell on my hands. Apparently, it's common. I went to Urgent Care. They x-rayed and found a "nondisplaced closed radial elbow fracture". They put me in a splint and referred me to an orthopaedist. Since ortho never called, and I wasn't in pain (as long as I didn't move the elbow). I decided to forgo an actual cast. I have FDA-approved red light therapy devices (PlatinumLED), and am doing 15 minutes 2xday. Can't do that with a cast. After 4 days the swelling went down to the point of the splint rubbing against bone, causing pain. This brace fixes that. Comfortable, easy enough to take off and put on. Nothing rubs against the bone. I can do my red light therapy and light physical therapy, to prevent the elbow going stiff. The neck strap doesn't work for me. I prefer to use the sling they gave me at Urgent Care. The brace is about the size of the (fiberglass) splint they had given me, so it fits fine.

Well it lasted longer than the cast they put on my arm.
