This is a quality brand. It helps with diggestion, constipation. I pair it with clostridium butyricum CBM588 for a great results. Highly recommended. I've learned that spore-forming probiotics work best for me. I wasted a lot of money on bifidobacterium and lactobacillus strains. They make me sick even when it's a quality product that works great for others. I may be sensitive to lactic acid producing probiotics. Some of the lactobacillus that I was trying may have been producing histamine. If your histamine intolerant like I am you have to be careful of that. Probiotics are learning process. But when you find the right ones it works:)

I appreciate that this is a single strain that is known to combat some hefty bugs and we’ve used it to address some ongoing infections in our family with success. This brand is just as effective as one we’d been using but is priced more reasonably. Very happy so far! ETA: These have already begun creeping up in price since my original review, so I’ve begun to try out other reputable companies who sell this strain individually. Quality probiotic brands can be found in many places, so “affordable“ is my first priority.

My son was on antibiotics for 40 days. I was gathering different probiotics to help him heal. I read this specific strain can be helpful to restore the gut and possibly help with strep infections. I took it first and had some very strange reactions. Constipation, gas and my rosacea which was in remission had the worst flair I've ever experienced. I'm also now struggling with chronic dry mouth. We were in a very stressful situation so hard to pin down the exact cause. As they say, correlation doesn't mean causation....which at times can feel like gas lighting to me when your the one having the experience. All I know is the symptoms started happening shortly after I started taking it when we were home from the hospital. I took it for three days and stopped. I can't say for certain but I do have high sensitivities to molds and fungus. I hadn't really understood this was a spore based probiotic. I would be aware that it may work differently depending on your personal make up. Most of my symptoms have subsided except the constipation and dry mouth. It arrived in a very professional packaging. Be aware that soil based, specific strain probiotics may affect us differently.
