Very easy to use
It is very easy to use and reset. I mostly use it for workouts and timing myself so I don't lose track of time when I get sucked in a book.

Works, But Not Very Good for Office Environment
It is a timer. It works. I docked a star because it doesn't meet my needs. However, I have 2 issues with it that make it hard to use in the office - and I work in an office, not in a cubicle (it'd be MUCH worse in a cubicle):1. Sound: At the quieter of the 2 sound settings, it is REALLY loud. If I'm sitting at my desk, I jump (still). It can be heard from (maybe) 30 feet away, even when my door is shut, & it is very annoying to my coworkers. I've tried to dampen the sound: folded up tissues seem to work the best but I'm talking about 1/2" thickness of tissues.2. Light: The lights that flash are minute (pun!). They have yet to catch my attention when I'm working away.I'm keeping it because I don't have time (another pun!) at the moment to find another one with similar pre-set times. I would especially like the 45 minutes, if I didn't start getting anxious about missing the flashing lights about 15 minutes after starting the timer.

Helpful physical timer
The media could not be loaded. I had a cube version of this hexagon timer years ago that I used frequently until it ceased to work after a battery leak. I know I can easily use a phone timer, but there are times where I like a physical timer. I am recovering from surgery which requires me to force myself to get up and move every hour. I find it too tempting at times to ignore my phone/watch timer, but if I have a physical timer across the room, I have to get up and turn it off. Also, I will be soon doing a lot of stretches and exercises for 1 or 5 minutes, so using this will be easier than continually asking my phone for a 1-minute or 5-minute countdown. So, I am really glad I found this updated version of my old trusty timer. This one is hexagonal, with sides for timers of 1, 5, 10, 25, 30, and 60 minutes. You do need to provide your own pair of AAA batteries. There is an on-off-mute switch (I don't see the value of the mute switch myself, it doesn't vibrate) so you can turn it off and prevent accidental timer activation. Once it's on, simply turn the number side up for the number of minutes you want a timer. Once you do, it will do a short beep so you know the timer is activated. For example, turn 5 up to get a 5 minute countdown. There are also minute up/down buttons on the bottom of the timer. So, if you wanted a 20 minute timer (which isn't one of the sides), you could put 25 up, and then press the minute down button 5 times to have a 20 minute timer. You can also pause the timer by turning it top-down and then back on by returning to the side you selected. Also, if you have a timer running and want to cancel, you can simply stand the timer right-side-up and it will cancel. The timer is loud enough to be heard across a room, but probably not in the rest of the house if you have the door closed. I expect to use it as a nap-timer before long... The timer is very light. It has a plain but polished look. This hexagonal timer does exactly what I'm needing it to do. I may not use it every day, but it's very handy for me to get a 1, 5, or 20 minute countdown without having to talk to my phone or press buttons on a digital timer.

Decent Timer with Room for Improvement
Overall, I'm quite pleased with this timer. Its quality feels good, definitely not like it's made from cheap plastic. I had considered cube timers, but concerns about their battery life from reviews led me to this one. The battery life has been excellent.A standout feature is the ability to set custom minute durations in addition to the predefined options. This is incredibly useful, especially since I frequently use a 3-minute interval, which isn't a standard preset. The pause and resume function is also a great convenience. The alarm sound is decent and, thankfully, it switches off automatically after a few seconds, unlike some range/stove/oven timers. However, it's not without its quirks. Occasionally, the timer doesn't start immediately when rolled into position. When this happens, I simply need to turn it to the 'off' position and then back to the desired time to get it going. This happens from time to time. The most significant drawback is the 60-minute timer's inconsistent behavior. When it reaches zero, it attempts to sound the alarm but cuts out within the first 2-3 seconds, then seemingly resets and tries to restart the 1-hour countdown. This issue prevents accurate timing for longer durations.Despite this glitch and the major issue with the 60-minute setting, the customizable timing and overall it is good for shorter intervals.

Works as advertised
It was easy to set up, easy to use, the alarm is a little loud for my office where I planned to use it for productivity reasons so I wish it had a vibrate function. I’m going to keep it on silent mode and figure out a way to put it more in my line of sight so I can’t miss the screen flashing when the time is up, but basically exactly as it’s advertised is how it functions and it’s a pretty cute little thing.
