This solar controller with solar panel works amazing it helps me out of a tough situation when my power went out and to help cut down on my electric bill in the lighting in my bedroom. This solar controller helped keep my battery is fully charged and maintained while regulating the electricity to my electronics! The insulation is very easy just need a small Phillips head screwdriver a spot to mount it and a battery connect to the ease of installation is as easy as 1 2 3 This amount that controller on the wall mount your solar panel outside in a nice sunny w area and the rest will do its job!

Works well keeps my battery happy

During my initial testing outside I couldn't get any output on the "load" connection. However, I must have been doing something wrong because today everything is working fine. I got a normal voltage and current output on both USB ports, a good charge voltage for the battery and over 10 volts/ 6 amps on the load. It should work fine on my e-bike for supplemental USB power and maintaining a12v battery for other peripherals.

It kept my two marine batteries charged up for four months..

Installed it on my trailer for lights and gps with a 15ah lifepo4 battery. Keeps it at perfect voltage and hasn't had an issue at all, it's driven around Phoenix often. Pretty good set up if you don't have huge daily power use

This solar controller came with almost no instructions they weren't clear, After getting it to work,And I mean send power to a water pump, t the pump stopped working, the solar panel showed power to the pump.After further investigating I thought my water pump pressure switch had failed, Found battery discharged, recharged battery. I worked on the pump, ended up ordering a new pump. When I got the new pump while rewiring it The wire came out of the electrical timer switch so I had to get that replaced. When the timer switch came in I wired the switch to the controller, Well The pump would run for a short while then stop. I did a thorough testing the solar display read voltage going to the pump, false reading confirmed by my volt meter. The solar charger is junk would not order this one.

I have owned this kit for almost two years now and it has been great! I purchased it for my camping set up in my vehicle and it hasn't let me down. This was my first time messing with Solar Panels and really anything electrical. It is pretty straight forward as far as installation goes. You can't really mess it up. The panel delivers the wattage as advertised and the charge controller is optimal. All in all, a good way to get your feet wet in the Solar world!

Garbage Controller - Just stops working and requires all connections to be disconnected and reconnected in order to start up again. Then fails again within minutes. Panel seems OK, Controller is TRASH
