I am more than happy with this product, I have heard that some tea leaves are better than others. I had never even heard of this stuff until a Polish man introduced it to me - now I am happily living the Yerba Mate life!!! I am embracing the South American tradition in the UK and am very pleased that it has now become integrated (not just culturally or spiritually!) into my morning regime. But all jokes aside, I think this is a wonderful product and it doesn't make me jittery at all. I would only have 1-2 cups (gourd size) a day as it has enough caffeine to last me all day, I find this stuff is very energising and it enhances my concentration that remains at a consistent pace. (Saves the coffee caffeine crash that I used to get, although I do still enjoy indulging in a coffee still every so often). Just make sure you remember that these leaves should last a while as they are reusable. You are supposed to fill the gourd up 3/4 full, but you don't have to do that if you don't want to depending on whether or not you like it strong or if you want to reuse the leaves. Fill it at your own discretion, people do it differently. If I have 1-2 sized gourd cups a day, and fill 3/4 full of Yerba, I keep using this for 2-3 days depending on how strong the Yerba is. I like it quite strong. * I don't find this Yerba leaf bitter at all, although each to their own, right? Some might be more bitter than others, but this one doesn't taste bitter at all to me. * Tip, make sure you're more careful about measuring if its in a caffatire (French press), but there are excellent YouTube videos on how to make Yerba if you're new to the stuff. Highly recommend!

I'm not an expert more like novice yerba user and I bought this one and other 2 different yerba brands to try which one would be best.This one has many sticks in it and its little bit dusty,makes water cloudy because of dust contain.I mean yerba dust.Taste ok and its not smoke dried therefore does not taste like cigarette in your tea😄

I bought this mate because I could not find my usual brand at a more decent price right now, but I can definitely say it was worth it. The taste is excellent, sweet and mellow with just the right amount of bitterness, making it a perfect wake-up drink (that also greets milk well), but also a very nice treat for any time of the day. It's a bit dustier than my usual brand and has more branches, however this did not deter much from the quality and flavour I normally seek in a cup of yerba mate, and the dustings sometimes even feel nice, making the drink seem homelier and more original, if that's possible. I cannot say that this product is better than what I usually buy, but at the same time I can't say it's worse: it will definitely join it as my everyday mate and I would actively recommend it to anyone curious about the drink, as well as to those who have it regularly.

Great stuff, gives you a caffeine lift that is more gentle and lasts longer than coffee. I was a complete coffee addict and since drinking this my concentration is better, skin is better, and I am less irritable. Subtle taste nice mixed with fresh mint leaves, apparently also very good for you as it contains a lot of nutrients and is alkaline unlike coffee which is acidic. 500gram pack lasts about a month drinking it a lot, you can put water on used tea and still get more from it several times. I leave mine in a flask as it gets better the more it brews. I tried bags first but this loose stuff is better. Will be buying one a month from here on.

Compared to other Kraus yerba and other brands, it Tastes like I imagine hay in hot water would taste. Fair amount of dust and large stems (biggest I've ever seen). Not undrinkable, especially if used in a cafeteria wouldn't recommend this varient and will stick with the Kraus strong and other brands.

Je suis super content d'avoir racheté du maté, ce produit est vraiment incroyable. La Yerba maté de Kraus est très bonne, une amertume non dérangeante au début et qui se dissipe par rajout d'eau. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande vivement. Le maté mérite d'être plus connu, cela apporte que des bonnes vertus !

Ich habe das Kraus Mate Organica 500g Fair Trade Mate ausprobiert und bin sehr begeistert. Der Geschmack ist ausgewogen und angenehm bitter, genau wie es bei einem guten Mate sein sollte. Es ist nicht zu stark, sondern bietet eine erfrischende und belebende Wirkung, die perfekt für den Tag ist. Besonders schätze ich die Fair Trade-Zertifizierung, da ich so sicher sein kann, dass die Produkte unter fairen Bedingungen angebaut und gehandelt wurden. Die Qualität des Tees ist hervorragend und der Mate gibt mir einen angenehmen Energieschub ohne das unangenehme Zittergefühl, das man manchmal bei anderen koffeinhaltigen Getränken hat.

Je suis une adepte convaincu du maté. Goût très prononcé. Fidèle substituant au RedBull. Fonctionne sur plus long terme, donne un bon boost d'énergie qui se poursuit relativement tardivement dans la journée. Donne de l'énergie et aide a se concentrer. Une bonne façon de commencer la journée !
