I got these to join a Cat5E cable in my loft that wasn't quite long enough to reach from my cctv camera to my dvr. It works flawlessly with no loss in picture quality and is solidly built. I imagine being a metal bodied coupler helps with shielding so I would highly recommend.

Use to extend the Ethernet cable

The coupler does the job and looks good and is of good construction but unfortunately the outer housing easily moves off the inner block.

Does exactly as you would expect, can not complain, saved me pulling a new cable under the floors when I onnly needed to add a metre
