Funko 013183 Minecraft 00261 Wall Torch

I got this for my sons 4th birthday as he is absolutely Minecraft mad. I saw some negative reviews in places but I have nothing but positive things to say about this item. Looks great, the light is bright enough for him to read in bed by himself without straining his eyes like other novelty torches, and best of all the button is large and easy to find- it is not a slide one which can be tricky for young hands (or older ones like mine- I have carpal tunnel syndrome and cannot use such other devices with this function); it is a simple click on and off. I use simple batteries from Poundland and the torch was left on for 4 days consecutively 24/7 and it is still going strong, which I was pleasantly surprised at. Great value for money at £14.99... perfect gift for a Minecraft fan. Fun item I am finding myself using too at night when I dont want to disturb anyone else. Might have to invest in another!

My son bought this as he is a proper Minecraft geek! Although not cheap it is well made and looks just like the torch in the game. I've managed, so far, to dissuade him from having it mounted on the wall. Wall mounting would be easy enough with a fold out mount on the base of the unit which would hold the torch at the same angle as in the game. If you want a torch torch then this isn't it, get a maglite. As a replica that gives off a bit of light and will allow the kids to play 'real life mine craft' this is excellent. It is expensive for what it is but it is well made and it has brought pleasure to my lad, that is the most important thing, so yes I'd say it's good value and worth considering for the crafty geek!

These are actually quite fantastic. Build quality is good and the button operation is a great design choice by the manufacturers. The touch mechanism ruined the light-up blocks. These torches are fantastic for childrens bedrooms and can also be mounted onto walls / bed posts (screws are not provided). They take 3 AAA batteries. The hatch is a little tight for the batteries and my concern is that over time the screw that keeps the hatch shut will eventually wear out the plastic thread on the torch body. The spring that pushed the batteries in definitely is stronger than it needs to be which results in, what I think, is excess pressure against the batter door hatch. They are quite bright. I found they are great as night lights and allow me to read bed time stories without having the bedroom light on and the light is not harsh at all. In fact the light is a nice warm glow which gives the room a lovely feel. They are also quite tall.

Comment by 11 year old recipient: My minecraft torch is awesome. School friends are wowing at it. It is very up to date with what's going on with technology in the world. Shame it broke after two days. Breakable it may be, it is well worth it, being a fantastic night light and something that makes friends look up to you for being up to date, stylish and modern. Comment by adult: I would not have spent £30 on this torch. The fold-back section for wall hanging is a good idea but poorly executed. For this money I should be able to expect a cleverly secreted hinge rather than the pathetic bit of folding plastic, masquerading as a hinge.

This is a super light which is bound to delight any minecraft fan. It’s simple to put up on the wall, just a couple of screws, and looks fabulous once up there. I put this above my son’s bed so that he could have it on at night time to both read and go to sleep with. He really loved it as he’s obsessed with minecraft and it really does look the business. Recommended for minecraft fans.

First torch we were sent didn't work at all, the packing was ripped, the screw on flap underneath was snapped off and no matter what batteries we tried it just wouldn't switch on. The company promptly sent out another via recorded delivery - props to them! - which at first didn't seem to work either, however, upon reading advice in another review I realised that we were using rechargeable batteries and needed to pop in a bit of tin foil, voila! A working torch. (Did also try this for the first one but still refuses to work so has been chucked). It seems, reading other reviews, that there may have been a faulty batch, I'm just hoping this one continues to work. The amount of light it emits is perfect as a night light and the cool design has been a huge hit with our minecraft mad son. I love the fact that it can also be wall mounted

What a brilliant light. My child loves it and it's very good quality for the price. It took over 3 weeks to arrive but in my opinion it just goes to show all good things come to those who wait. I Highly recommend this to anybody with a Minecraft crazy person in there life. Also it is quite bright, bright enough to read with but also able to use as a night light.

Es lo que esperaba. No es mala calidad como alguno dice por ahí. Podría ser más barata? Si claro. Supongo. Pero viene con su caja de minecraft muy bien presentada. Si es para regalar a un fan de minecraft perfecto. Colgadas quedan auténticas, como en el juego. Compraré una más. Las colocaré como luces quitamiedos en la habitación de los niños. Ellos encantados.

Wir haben diesen Artikel bereits schon einmal gekauft weil wir Minecraft nicht nur online spielen sondern auch leben. Viele wichtigen Zusatzartikel wie Tshirt, Figuren, Magnete usw. befinen sich in unserem Haushalt. Die Fackel ist ein toller Artikel gerade für die Deko im KinderZimmer. Die Fackel macht ein schönes helles Licht das auch im Dunkeln gerade eine tolle Atmosphäre schafft. Das Batteriefach ist nicht unbedingt einfach zu öffnen gerade wenn Kinder dies selbst versuchen klappt das nicht wirklich optimal. Die Wandbefestigung ist einfach und man kann somit die Fackel fest an der Wand montieren aber auch wieder abnehmen. Wir würden die Fackel auf alle Fälle wiederkaufen und auch noch mal kaufen... - der Preis ist ok denn auch eine andere Leuchte mit diversen Fanmotiven hat inetwa den gleichen Preis.

Gave it to my brother for Christmas and he wanted to play with it right away! We put in some batteries and it worked perfectly. The end lights up enough to have fun and see with, although I wouldn't recommend using it as your emergency flashlight. The the box has a cute little blurb on the side comparing it to a real torch and the ones is in the game, essentially saying if you step on a game torch nothing happens, if you step on a real torch you'll probably burn your foot, and if you step on this toy torch you'll probably break it. So leaving it on the floor is probably a bad idea. I haven't seen it mounted on a wall yet, but I think my brother likes waving it around more than keeping it on the wall. It's not indestructible, but it comes with bubble wrap to protect it in it's box a bit. It's a good size and easy to turn on and off with the simple press of a button.

I miei figli, come tutti quelli che hanno acquistato questo prodotto, sono appassionati del gioco di minecraft e, per natale, "frugando" tra i milioni di oggetti di amazon mi sono imbattuta in questa fedele riproduzione della mitica torcia. Devo dire che dai commenti e dalle foto ho avuto subito un'eccellente impressione. In questo caso la realtà supera l'immaginazione, infatti la torcia oltre ad essere un oggetto originale del merchandising minecraft è costruita veramente bene. La luce, a camera spenta, è ottima e funziona anche da luce di servizio. Puo essere posizionata sul tavolo o appesa al muro dove da il meglio di se. Le batterie non sono incluse, mentre la consegna con amazon prime è stata, come al solito, puntuale. Insomma sono rimasta completamente soddisfatta ma soprattutto sono rimasti entusiasti e felici i miei figli e questa è la cosa più importante. Consigliatissima !!! Es de buen material, resistente, se puede colocar en la pared como en el videojuego, la calidad de la pintura es excelente, es igualito, una buena compra para fanáticos.
