I had read the reviews prior to ordering this shampoo and conditioner set and was ever hopeful that they would work to help tame my hair extensions. I will be honest here and say from my experience the reviews are inaccurate. There are FAR better shampoos and conditioners out there for half the cost, and honestly I much prefer the results from using my beloved Argan oil based shampoos and conditioners than these. I’m disappointed. Really disappointed. I’m not seeing any significant difference in the smoothness and sleekness of my hair, neither does it particularly work well to detangle. I was holding out from paying the Olaplex prices as they are far dearer but now I think I’m going to have to as clearly it’s a premium product in comparison. I’d beware of doing the same as I did and buying based on the reviews on this listing. I can’t see how people are experiencing what they state that they are experiencing... I even use the shampoo and conditioner in conjunction with the detangling leave in spray that I purchased as well, and still no difference. The scent is pretty non offensive is about the real only positive thing I can say about it, and it doesn’t irritate my scalp or eyes if any product runs into them. The only saving graces.

I have worn human hair extensions for years, both micro loop and tape-ins. This shampoo and conditioner is honestly the best you will get for your money. I have tried other, more expensive sets that left my hair greasy or caused the extensions to tangle excessively or slip out. I always come back to X10 because my own hair (and extensions) feel clean and smooth, and look shiny and healthy. It also adds to the life of the extensions to use a gentle non-stripping shampoo set (which this is). There is also a leave-in spray conditioner and smoothing serum you can buy; all four in a set usually run around £13. WELL worth the pennies!
