LUXE Bidet 7/8" x 7/8" x 3/8" Cold Water Shut-Off Valve T-Adapter for Bidets, Only Compatible with NEO Plus Series Bidet Attachments (Nickel Finish)

This device was exactly what I needed for my luxe bidet. Easy to install, controls water pressure, and fit perfectly with the 300 plus bidet. Now, you don’t necessarily need this if you have one of those plus bidets because the water pressure can be adjusted with the knob. However, I ended up keeping it because it allows for finer control of the cold water pressure. If we go on vacation, or for some reason a leak were to ever show up, I can take comfort with the ability to shut off the water if needed. No leaks, functions exactly as designed, made the bidet installation a breeze.

I have a bidet in every one of my bathrooms. Unfortunately, some people don’t know how to use one and out of curiosity decide to turn on the water to see what happens. This should come with the bidet. Without it, you need to shut the water to the toilet to work on bidet. Plus, if freezing water lines are a problem, you can the water to your toilet slow dripping at night.

Part arrived with a bad rubber gasket so it leaked, but that’s not why it’s a 1 star. It’s 1 stars because the length of the bottom isn’t long enough to connect standard supply lines to from say Lowe’s and Home Depot.. and because of that you can’t tighten it enough for the bottom to not leak making this entirely useless since low profile supply lines aren’t exactly easy to find. Now if you did resolve that hurdle you’ll encounter a second which is the valve that turns is too close to the rest of the unit meaning with connections attached it can’t be fully operated closed to open. Overall a bad design.

I purchased this after upgrading from a Neo 185 to the Neo 185 Plus. The T Adapter for the Neo 185 was shiny chrome and designed and worked very well. This adapter however had a rougher metal finish, the handle is hard to turn, and the handle hits the water supply nut when I turn it. If I buy another Neo 185 Plus I will probably just use the included T Adapter.

It took an extra trip to Home Depot to find the supply line (3/8" Compression to 7/8 Ballcock nut) with a low-profile Ballcock nut. The regular Ballcock nut will stop when it reaches the water on/off handle on this T-adapter. One can try to tight the nut all the way by turning the handle inline with the hose but once tighten the nut will block the handle to turn to On position. I am not sure if whoever designed this T-adapter ever think of this problem. The compression end doesn't have this problem so obviously the designer should know what it takes to repeat the same dimension to the ballcock end. We are talking about common sense here. Once I found the supply line with low profile ballcock nut then the install went smoothly with no leak. I think most of the reviewers here reported the water leakages are due couple factors 1. The supply line ballcock end doesn't go all the way in due to the T-adapter On/Off handle blockage 2. Missing or having extra washer. The Compression end of the supply line doesn't require washer. Actually, adding a washer might cause the leak since the line no longer "compressed" 3. The washer didn't lay flat or crooked when tighten If one pay attention to these common errors, the installation should be problem free

I bought this as it is proprietary shut off valve for luxe Neo 185 plus bidet slimline. makes me feel comfortable should there ever be a leak from the bidet itself should something fail there. it would also help control flow of water into bidet if too strong, and shut water off to bidet when not in use or if not using for a long time. the bidet comes with a hose which I will keep just in case.

I ordered 15 inches thinking it will fit on my bidet. It didn’t work so I thought there will be longer than 15 inches that I can order, but the company selling only 15 inches should be selling few different sizes .
